About the Author
Mike Church and Terri Church are the authors of the Traveler’s Guide series and RV Adventures in the Pacific Northwest. They spend most of the year traveling in their RV or car camping in Canada, Europe, Mexico, and the United States. They live in Benson, Arizona.
More About the Author
For the last 19 years Terri and I have traveled the western U.S., Alaska, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Most of this travel has been in an RV, a form of travel we love. It's affordable and comfortable, the perfect way to see interesting places.
Over the years we discovered that few guidebooks were available with the essential day-to-day information that camping travelers need when traveling in unfamiliar surroundings. Our guidebooks are designed to provide that information in a handy and easy-to-use format.
We live full time in an RV and spend almost 100% of our time traveling in the areas covered in our guidebooks while we update the books and maintain an informaton-filled website: www.rollinghomes.com.

made a weeklong road trip in my own car and camped along the way. My wife and I don't speak any spanish and had only an additional phrase-book. This guide was awesome - primarily in that with it, we camped in a pretty good place every night. Information on towns and side trips was fun to read along the way and decide whether or not to go see/do

This is an excellent guide to Mexico, I am looking forward to the next edition. Travel in Mexico is safe, don't believe the newspapers, no one is going to shoot you in a Batman movie, or shoot up a school.

Like all the guide books by Mike and Terri Church, this is a comprehensive, easy to use must have guide book for the Baja. With its orderly layout, unbiased reporting and invaluable information on roads, fuel stops, country entry information as well as where to camp you don't want to leave home without it. Their format is standardized and the content regularly updated so once you have used one of their guide books all others are easy and informative reads and you know that the information will be current.

Mike and Terri Church have done an amazing job on this. Well organized, very thorough, it is almost everything you will need to travel Baja, camping or in a camper/RV. There is an excellent introduction covering border crossing, insurance, crime and safety, drug interdiction checkpoints, road conditions, fuel availability, telephones, and additional reading.
There are simple but very useful maps of everything plus route descriptions and suggested side trips. The descriptions of camp areas (from beach camping to full-hookup trailer parks) are detailed and practical, including information on water quality, electrical capacity, and areas of soft sand (important to know in Mexico).
I have not seen their other camping guides (covering the rest of Mexico, Southwest, Northwest, Alaska, and Europe) but I will certainly buy them as the need arises. Highly recommended!
