Really helped keep the kids on track on our trip.
Antoinette
Out of all the toys and books to keep the kids busy, we enjoyed this one the most!
Pam
This atlas does very little to educate kids on geography.

We are very pleased with this purchase and with the quiet that comes with it! It is full of fun stuff to keep little ones minds busy and our drive less stressful.

My 8-yr-old loves this atlas. He loves doing the activities in this book even when we're not on a road trip. He's learning the state capitals, state plants/flowers, and landmarks without realizing it. (As far as he is concerned, it's just a fun
activity book) He's already asking about getting another book like it.

Really good for kids who want to keep track of the trip. It helped tremendously with the "are we there yet" syndrome!

I guess this would be fun for a 6 or 7 year old. The first few pages are about scales and coordinates, but after that, each state has a pretty childish activity. I had hoped that there would be a way for my kids (9 and 11) to follow our progress, maybe see exits and learn to navigate. This was not possible, but a real atlas is a bit too much for kids this age. I had hoped this would fill the middle groung. My expectations may have been too high, but my kids immediately lost interest. The maps were lackluster and really not interesting. I would have preferred that the map take up the entire page, rather than half (the activity takes up the other half). The activities are really generic and don't in any way teach how to use a road atlas. They are just things like "what's wrong with this picture?".
