Right on the Money!

Lonely Planet has managed to hit on most of the highlights from Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Vienna. Where to go , what to see are very good suggestions. To early for me to comment on the eating recommendations. Also it appears that they only named a few places to sleep. There are manny more hotels available from different price ranges , that was only glanced upon.
Great pictures, decent maps, and good advice on traveling

excellent investment

Not enough visuals

There were not enough visuals for me. When I "looked through the first few pages"-- one of the options you offer, there were plenty of pictures. Shame on me for not looking through more if the book. Visuals help me remember my trip ( and what my photos represent ).

This guidebook has limited utillity- only a handful of hotels, restaurants, etc. I bought it to use in Poland and Hungary but would have prefferred a book dediated to just a few countries instead of so many with so little info.
