About the Author
Mark Baker is a journalist, photographer and freelance writer. He is a former reporter for the Economist and a long-tine editor and correspondent for Prague-based Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. He is currently a contributor to National Geographic Traveler, Wanderlust, Wall Street Journal ( Europe) and the BBC, among others. In addition to Prague, he has authored several Frommer's guidebooks on Czech Republic, Poland and Eastern Europe. Mark has resided in Prague for over twenty years.

Excellent guide. Informative and an easy read. Made our stay in Prague an adventure instead of a visit. We were able to discover out of the way places to see. I believe this guide book was one of the reasons Prague was my favorite city out of all the others we explored on our trip!

Good for preplanning. Helpful map with street addresses. Probably best for first time visitors. We did use some of the shops listed also. Could have had brief language assistance but the majority of people spoke English.
