Extremely user friendly book, I highly recommend!!!

This is the type of book that works best in the printed version so you can flip from the map pages to the description pages with ease.

The route descriptions are good and this book will get used during my vacation.

We relied heavily on this book as first time travelers to Sedona this past weekend. On our last day, we thought we could complete the Devil's Bridge hike before our flight out based on the description in this book. The text may or may not be correct but the map is not correct. We followed the map in the book and took the hike from Long Canyon road on the Chuck Wagon trail--which was supposed to be 2.2 miles one way. The book sent us North instead of South and, in fact, does not even appear to include that section of the trail at all. The Northern route was much longer than represented in the book and was very poorly marked. By the time we made it to the base of Devil's Bridge, we didn't have time to go up because we had spent so much time on the trail and were worried about finding our way back to our car in time. Get information on Devil's Bridge elsewhere!

Very informative book and it helped us be able to easily change our hiking itenerary around when the Slide Fire of 2014 closed or effected many trails on the north side of sedona. The maps in the front of the book (master area map with trailhead markers) could be improved - I was able to figure them out but my wife struggled with them. The type was small and not to scale, but that was my only complaint. The book saves you a Tom of time from trying to find info in the Internet and is worth the money if you are planning a visit. Ps - we hiked with two kids ages 8 and 10 so the book helped to identify age appropriate trails for our family.
