In a two week tour of Tuscany this map was a great supplement to our GPS. Accurate navigation even on little-traveled dirt roads.

If you are driving in Tuscany, this is the map that you need. It contains all the details you could ever want. As it says on the cover, its based on satellite imagery, and contains a lot of physical detail such as the location of areas containing buildings which would be absent without this feature. A really great map, and I'm packing it on my next trip to Tuscany.

After my visit to Tuscany, I can say this map really does the job. What I can suggest is that you also purchase some of the 1:25,000 maps which are available in the Tuscan bookshops which shows exact walking and driving information that you will need if you are driving or walking this country. Love this map.

There is a reason that the Michelin maps are considered the "gold standard", detail and accuracy. This map provides both. It could use more city-level detail maps for secondary cities like Livorno, but it is a great assist for anyone attempting to drive in Italy.

I bought this for a trip to Italy and we used it while driving around Tuscany. It is very easy to follow and has all the info we needed.

I think the Michelin maps have overall the best detail for driving in Europe. They list lots of routes by number, and they include many small villages and towns that help in navigating back roads. If I could change one thing about this map it would be to use black lettering for all city/town names, to make them easier to read on the road especially in poor lighting conditions. Michelin apparently doesn't sell larger scale maps for Tuscany, but if this becomes a problem many of the local tourist information offices have good road maps of nearby regions. An advantage of the Michelin maps is that they are coordinated with the Michelin Red Guides and Green Guides, for those of us who still like to have books rather than rely on the Internet and smart phones for all travel planning.

Michelin produces excellent reliable maps that are updated and accurate. I depend on them when I visit Italy. I would purchase other Michelin maps when I need them.

Good map if you are sitting with a cappuccino at a table but for passenger or driver side navigating on the fly.
Especially in Tuscany!!

The map is excellent, but seems a little over-sized. We didn't go on our trip yet, but it should be helpful, just a little cumbersome to pull out and look at easily.
