Great Map, Disappointing packing

Those maps are great and we loved both of them (Europe and Asia).
They are pretty updated: Europe has Kosovo and Montenegro.
The design, colors, paper are great.
The Asia map is nicer in one aspect: it displays other countries - not belonging to Asia - in white colors so you easily see the border. That doesn't happen in Europe's map.

DELIVERY: **
However both of the maps I ordered came tired and scratched.
I was very ashamed of it as I gave it as a Christmas gift.
I've promised to replace it ASAP having pretty good experience with Amazon so far.
Amazon shipped the replacement immediately, and picked up the old one next business day.
Unfortunately, the replacement came the same way: tired and scratched on the borders.
Also, the plastic tube maps came in was missing a tap.
It looks that the people packing them take no care at all.

Those maps are definitely worth the purchase, but it would be less painful to get them in local store if possible.
The internet shopping - in this case requiring 2 replacements - is really inconvenient. They can be picked up only from the place of delivery, and the UPS does not give you a time for pick-up so you are expected to spend whole day waiting for them to come.

Disappointed

I buy different items all of the time off of Amazon and have never been disappointed until I got this poster.
I did arrive in a tube and nothing seemed wrong until I pulled it out. It had wrinkles in the MIDDLE and tears on the edges :( It was for Christmas, so I had to deal and hope that once framed, it wouldn't be too obvious to my much older parents. It doesn't look too awful framed, but it still should NOT have arrived in a tube in that condition.

We really like this map. My daughter spent three months touring Europe with her best friend. After buying her one, she bought one for her friend. She's embellishing them with photos, tickets, receipts etc. for a great memory collage. Great size, colors, nice quality!

The reason I'm giving this map 4 stars vs 5 is that I wish it had come laminated. That is its' one and only downfall! Other than that, it's perfect for us documenting our travels across Europe!!
