many mistakes

I received this book of maps for Christmas, and it looks very nice. Unfortunately, I have found a lot of mistakes such as roads that are shown as continuing on when they actually dead-end, roads marked with the wrong numbers, and minor rural roads that are marked in the book as major roads. This has led to a lot of confusion and backtracking. I also have the DeLorme computer program which is much more accurate, so I'm not sure why they have done such a poor job with this atlas.

Fantastic Map

This is a great detailed map. I loved that it marked the boat docks and campgrounds. I wish that it had indicated scenic routes also. I had to mark those from an Arkansas map that the state sent me. I highly recommend this map if you intend to travel the backroads of Arkansas.

The Atlas you Need When there is no Direct Route

Living in a state with "no good way to get there" I find the typical state map woefully inadequate. This atlas provides extensive information regarding seconday and back roads, waterways, state and local parks, even boat ramps. Very helpful for the would be traveler. A great gift for friends and family.

The new edition of the atlas & gazetter for Arkansas is bigger and better than previous ones. I haven't had time to check the road numbers against the county road signs, yet. If the numbers are now up-to-date, I will be totally pleased.

Roads change up and get left out, but this is pretty good. I am not a GPS type person - still like a piece of paper map in hand to find my way. This Atlas and the GPS maps both still have their qwerks :)

useless, the roads and names are just too small and continuing on the next page could be 20 (or more) pages forward or backward. I actually left it in a diner in Arkansas. .
