I wasn't sure what to make of this book when I first heard about it. At first I thought it was going to be a manual on how to get a man; it turned out to be so much more! Not only does it talk about getting a man but it talks about keeping that man!! I really enjoyed the real life scenarios both Rev Run and Tyrese used! I am married with 2 children and managed to read this entire book in one day it was just that good! In almost every Chapter I was saying to myself Yesss that happened to me!! I said I'm going to keep my copy for now 2 year old when she gets old enough to start dating etc. I'm sure my husband will be there to guide her but somethings you just don't want to discuss with DADDY!

I enjoyed the book but I think that they are too focused on what a woman can do for a man to make him feel good as opposed to what can a man do to build himself up and take care of his loves without the need for constant admiration.

I was excited to read this when I first seen them talking about it on TV but 3 chapters in I can't stand to read much more of Tyrese's immature mindset. I'm sure its the mindset of many men if not all. Glad I borrowed from library instead of wasting money on it. Wish Rev.Run would've wrote this alone. I like him and respect his point-of-views. Tyrese on the other hand, not so much!

I wanted to read this book thinking I would learn something. The only thing I learned is that Tyrese's character in Baby Boy truly reflects his real life and this is the type of man women should avoid. I believe he's use to dealing with only one type of woman, therefore his advice will only attract "that type" of woman. I personally could not relate nor dare to take his advice. Tyrese acts more like an adolescent boy that requires and need attention... NOT A MATE. The best part, he realizes his actions. Rev Run's chapters are GREAT! More mature and reflects reality/ideal mature relationship. Run should have wrote more of his thoughts. Instead the spotlight was mainly on Tyrese. I could have borrowed this book...

This book is nothing more than a publicity stunt. I found most of the writing boring and superficial at best.

This book really doesn't tell you anything, other than fixate on Tyrese's egotistical, selfish manhood. This book was a total waste of time and money!

I liked it but wouldn't recommend it. Tyrese must have not had anyone proof read his part because it contained a lot of grammar errors. There was a lot of disagreements between the two which kind of confused me on which advice I should actually take. It was just okay...I have read better.

Rev Run and Tyrese Gibson have somehow managed to bring knowledge to so many men and women through this book Manology. Tyrese Gibson being the talented and gifted individual that he is had my attention from his previous book "How To Get Out Of Your Own Way." Tyrese's raw truth is revealed, no hidden secrets just pure flaws and all. What I admire about Tyrese is that he is not afraid to reach down in the trenches and bring others to the top with him. In reading Manology, Tyrese is again raw, honest, and as truthful as he can be. But there is a little twist to this that I enjoy and that is Rev Run. Rev Run and Tyrese have this little thing called Agree to Disagree. In this book Manology, that is exactly what is brought forth to the table. You see here two well paid entertainers speak their minds from a normal perspective minus the glitz and glamour. Rev Run has had years of experience on Tyrese not only in the Music Industry but in life itself. Rev Run takes all of his wisdom that he has acquired and MAN-tors Tyrese through his thoughts, perception, and actions in his own personal relationships. When you look at Tyrese you see him developing into a better man who battles the absence and challenges of not having a positive and influential MAN in his life. Rev Run takes him under his wings and together they get through all of the hurt, dysfunction, and important questions that majority of men face. In doing this, Tyrese reveals secrets of how a single MANS thought process is and what woman should watch out for and Rev Run gives clarity from a married MANS perspective and how to enjoy the oneness of marriage while walking with God. Throughout Manology we are able to see two men come together to give better clarity and insight on relationships and a MAN'S true secrets.
