About the Author
Gordie Howe played thirty-two seasons with the Detroit Red Wings, Houston Aeros, and New England (later Hartford) Whalers. At the time of his retirement in 1980, he had established all-time marks for goals (1,071), assists (1,518), points (2,589), games played (2,421), All-Star appearances (29), most MVPs (7), most scoring titles (6), and most seasons.
