This book goes way behind basketball. It helps formulate an approach to life that ultimately can drive a higher level of happiness and satisfaction. There's no need to follow the traditional path. There are so many other paths to explore.

Overall this book is a great page turning story about faith, devotion, vision, and inspiration. It also includes many fascinating stories of how Idan utilizes his thoughtfulness, skill, and intelligence to create precision training sessions for some of the NBA's greatest players. This book is a reminder that peak performance is only found through true passion, love, and a burning desire to master your craft. While his and his player's craft is basketball, this book is a must read for anyone who wants to be great and provide higher value, lasting impact, and be legendary in any endeavor!

Idan Ravin has brought the public inside the gym of his private practices with the top basketball players in the world relaying little antidotes about each player. It is a story of hope and how Idan pursued his dream to rise to the top of his game even though he didn't make his college team. He never gave up and ultimately quit the legal profession to pursue his love. As someone once said "if you love what you do it's not work'..this book is a must read for basketball and for life's lesson never to give up on your dreams!

He set out to share his love of basketball with the reader and his clients but he fails to show it in his writing or training sessions. As with one of his anecdotes, he does not want to give anything a way. I wish he would have better illustrated how he works with his clients to tap in to their youthful exuberance of the game. Unfortunately, I found the book to be about the author without revealing demonstrating how passion was an integral part of his training sessions.
