"My tendency to make up stories and lie compulsively for the sake of my own amusement takes up a good portion of my day and provides me with a peace of mind not easily attainable in this economic climate."—Chelsea Handler, from Chapter 10 of Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang

It's no lie: Chelsea Handler loves to smoke out "dumbassness," the condition people suffer from that allows them to fall prey to her brand of complete and utter nonsense. Friends, family, co-workers—they've all been tricked by Chelsea into believing stories of total foolishness and into behaving like total fools. Luckily, they've lived to tell the tales and, for the very first time, write about them.

    Fantastic Read

Chelsea never lets you down, this book is a fabulous and entertaining read at a great price. Nookbooks are priced so that the author and publishing company can afford to continue buying library of congress numbers, copyrights, and also promote the title. We all love Chelsea, and I am glad that my proceeds for buying this book are going to support her on her way to a best seller. I'm glad to see that ebooks aren't yet damaging the market in the devastating way that mp3s have hurt small time musicians. I'm proud to be a contributor to our economy, and a supportor of the literary market with my purchase.

    Don't make the Author Suffer

For starters another awesome book by Chelsea! Secondly don't make the author suffer because you are to cheap to pay the price that every retailer out there is charging for the book. A negative review not only reflects badly on the author but you because it is just plain ignorant.

sorry but i for one was disappointed....

First off, I am an avid fan of Chelsea's and loved all of her books and was so looking forward to this one BUT if I would of known this book was written by others in her life about the lies she told I would of waited to buy it when it goes on sale especially since it's not even a lend me book....Who wants to read other peoples writing and only read a couple of lines to a a paragraph that Chelsea actually wrote at the end of each chapter? It was interesting to see the photos tho....sorry for the bad review but this is my opinion. I will still remain an avid fan because CHELSEA ROCKS!!!

Not as good as her own books

I was disappointed in this book. I love Chelsea and have read all her books. It was interesting that the chapters written by the writers of Chelsea Lately were the worst ones. You would think the writers could write an interesting story. They dragged on and just needed to get to the point. Stories written by her friends and stylist were better. Chelsea gave them great material but overall it was boring because they dragged out the stories constantly defending themselves that they are not idiots. At least I will save my money and NOT get Heather McDonalds book after reading her chapter.

    Not her best...

Probably since she didn't write it herself. I think parts were really funny, but I enjoyed the previous books much more. I even stopped reading this one in the middle for a time, which I never would have done with her other books.

    Very funny, as expected.

I ordered this book and "From the Trailer Park to the E.R." and they were both hilarious.

    Borderline Amazing

Great read. Chelsea's books are always is a good choice. Different than the other books, but it makes you feel connected to Chesea in another way, almost as if your one of the crew. Must buy. Even if it was double the price.

    Laugh till you cry

Anytime Chelsea Handler writes, you should read. This one is, frankly, not as funny as 'Are You There, Vodka, It's Me," but well worth it nonetheless. Chelsea actually writes in a very approachable way; it's personal, insightful and will not disappoint in the comedic approach she takes.

    So Hilarious

I love Chelsea Handler's books. It was so hilarious to read the lies that she got people to believe and the fact that none of them held it against her. Their motto is if she's playing a joke on you, she loves you. Almost every single chapter said that. I don't have a NOOK; I bought the hardcover book. It was fabulous. Hopefully Chelsea comes up with another book until then I'll just keep tuned in to Chelsea Lately every night.

    HIGHLY RECOMENDED

This book consists of short stories written by coworkers, family, and friends of Chelsea Handler. Chelsea Handler is pure genius. I cannot remember the last time I laughed so hard. The way she manipulates people into situations they would never be in is true talent. If you have a problem with harsh language or sexual references then this is not the book for you. The book does have a few "bad words" but its worth it to read this insanely funny book. The authors did an amazing job of depicting Chelsea at work. If you are on the fence about buying or reading this book I would watch a couple episodes of "Chelsea Lately" and then decide. If you watch it and don't like her sense of humor than this book is not for you.

    Hilarious!

I have never read any of Chelsea's other books. My boyfriend got me this book as a gift to get himself out of the doghouse. Ha! I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was skeptical at first, seeing as its not written by Chelsea herself. But it had me laughing outloud in every chapter. The stories are outrageously funny & I loved Chelsea's commentary throughout. If you are a fan of Chelsea's, you know that she is known as a pathological liar. But this book brings her madness to a whole new light. This is a must read for fans Chelsea!

    Oh chelsea

I am a chelsea fan and love reading her books/watching her show. This was disturbing though. I wonder how grown adults can put up with this treatment....perhaps the perks outweigh self respect. After her recent show in vegas where chelsea was bombed and gave a bad performance i wonder how many of these people are true friends to her and not enablers. For the first time i ended this book and feel i need a break from her.
