Familiar characters make occasional appearances without dominating the story, and the books, set in Washington State, can be read in any order.     MY REVIEW:

    I think this is my favorite Lucky Harbor book yet, and seeing as I've read the whole series, that's saying something. Love the hero, who's broody, has issues regarding trust and love, yet at the same time, doesn't hesitate in going after what he wants.

    Enter Becca, who's unbelievably sweet, but also has her fair share of past issues...and watch the two clash and explode with lust. It's great watching Becca stand up for herself, even against Sam, someone she wants but doesn't think she can get too close to.

    The old cast and news ones are also in this one, which makes it a lovely read. Be prepared for the heat to burn through the pages...yes, it's that good.

    Jill Shalvis has done a fantastic job in her newest release in the Lucky Harbor series.  This is a story about finding love and discovering what life is really all about.  It is the tale of a journey that leads to a homecoming.  The characters are well developed and beautifully created.  I was drawn in immediately by the sexy surfer dudes and by the stunningly beautiful person that was Becca Thorpe.




    Becca Thorpe is running away.  She has lived her whole life in her brother's shadow, taking care of him and his musical career.  Extremely talented in her own right, Becca doesn't have the confidence needed to believe in who she is.  Taking an extended vacation to the West Coast, she stops in a town called Lucky Harbor.  Attracted immediately to the quaint town, Becca finds a place to rent and decides to stay on for a while.  When she crosses paths with the SGS (sexy grumpy surfer), Sam Brody her life will never be the same.




    Sam Brody has always taken care of everyone important in his life.  He had always taken care of others, his dead beat dad, his childhood buddies now his business partners, but not himself.  Sure he eats, sleeps, exercises and takes care of his body’s needs, however, the one thing he's never considered is love.  By some chance of fate, in walks Becca Thorpe into his life and all of his preconceived notions are thrown out the window!  She is beauty personified to him, inside and out. Will Sam be able to recognize the spectacular love that he has with Becca before it's too late?  Can Becca finally believe in herself?  Read this book to find out.  ~TSRBR

    It's in His Kiss #10 in the Lucky Harbor series - Just as amazin

    It's in His Kiss #10 in the Lucky Harbor series - Just as amazing as the rest! Moving to Lucky Harbor, Becca Thorpe is working on starting over, starring herself; away from her family and away from the over-stressing life she had!  Sam Brody is a tough, smart, sexy & grumpy surfer who runs a Charter Boat business with his two best friends.  From the first connection Becca and Sam have, there is something there that they each see in the other that they want to "help" the other to overcome. Sam senses that Becca is still living in the past & doesn't freely open up or let anyone in.  Becca knows that there is more to Sam than he lets show, she can see it in his eyes; and as he patiently waits for her answers and waits for her to let him in.  Sam is smart with finances; and is always there for anyone that needs his help.  But who is there for Sam? 
    The three guys together can truly run the daily work at the charter business in a messy guy kinda way. Opportunity presents itself  to Becca when she hears the guys need a person to run their desk; and Sam reluctantly agrees to hire her, "to help her out because he knows she needs the money".  The humorous and emotional exchanges between Becca and Sam truly pull you in to the story and town again in a way that you won’t forget.   Because to some there are not always happily ever afters .  Not to give anymore away, this book is such a great read! It truly hits on several emotions and opens the doors to Lucky Harbor yet again to us in a way that only Jill Shalvis can do!

    Ok I just read this whole series well up till the last one out and can't wait till the next one comes out! This Town sounds like a great place to be! I want to go visit lol Started with this one Loved it went back and made sure I had them all . Waiting for the next . I would recommend this series ! Love Laughs and yes some heat :D Thank you for this fun series !

    Lived this one. 275 pages of tender, sweet alpha male. I loved the humor interplay with all the characters. A definite must read. Now Ineed to buy the rest!

    I absolutely loved this latest installment in The Lucky Harbor s

    I absolutely loved this latest installment in The Lucky Harbor series!! This is the 10th book in the series, and I keep expecting it to get stale (as many books do this far into a series), but Jill Shalvis does not disappoint & still manages to keep the series fresh! While there are similarities to previous books, the main characters are still new and different, and the story is still sweet and funny! A really lovely and fun book that even got me a little teary eyed! I adore this one and can't wait for the next Lucky Harbor book!!

    Highly Recommended-you must check it out!!

    A handsome man and his two hunky business partners what's not to like? I found some laugh out loud humor in this book and also it is a really good book that kept my attention from the first page to the last one. Becca finds a home and some great friends in Lucky Harbor

    This is one of my favorites from the Lucky Harbor series. Something in Sam just hit home. My mom always said 'actions speak louder than words' and Sam's actions towards and with Becca say what he has a hard time vocalizing. He's symbolic of many men today. I enjoyed this book from cover to cover and will be on to the next book in the series. It will be hard to beat but I'll give Jill Shalvis a shot cause I always enjoy her books!

    IT'S IN HIS KISS by Jill Shalvis is an entertaining Contemporary Romance. #10 Lucky Harbor Novel, but can be read as a stand alone. Although, I would suggest reading the others in this series, especially, "Once in a Lifetime". Can one kiss last forever? You must read this tale to romance to find out the answer.
    A fast paced tale that is warm, tender and light-hearted with familiar characters set in Lucky Harbor, Washington State. Sam Broady, a boatbuilder and investment genius, who just happens to be a sexy, hunky surfer meets, Becca Thorpe, who is escaping her city life. Love blossoms. But when her brother comes to town, trouble follows. A fun tale of romance, family and other possibilities. Sizzling heat is noted as well as a bit of suspense. Ms. Shalvis blends the right mixture of suspense, mystery and romance together to create an honest, tender love story. A wonderful read for any Contemporary Romance fan!

    Becca Thorpe comes to Lucky Harbor to jump start her life. Living by the ocean with its warm breezes is breathing new life into her plans. Becca’s view is further enhanced by the sexy boat builder whose shop is near by.  Becca’s first order of business is finding a paying job. She offers to organize Sam Brody’s office but with the stipulation that their one night of passion is not to be repeated.




    Sam Brody has always kept his business and personal life separate. He sees something in Becca that is missing from his life. Offering her a job is a god send since neither he or his partners have no time for office paper work.  Becca whips the office into shape in no time at all but his hands off policy of mixing work and pleasure slowly falls by the waste side.




    Neither Becca or Sam can keep their minds nor their hands off each other.  Issues in both of their past threaten to pull them back into a life they had left behind. Can this new relationship grow and prosper in sleepy little Lucky Harbor?

    I love this series!!! 
    One of the things I love the most about Jill Shalvis' books is that she builds the characters relationship through out the book and takes you on the ride with them. 
    Sam Brody believes you show your love by your actions, but he does not believe in the words "Love you". Sam takes care of those he cares for by making sure that he and his business partners Tanner and Cole make the most of their Charter Company. Keeping them successful and financially sound and they in return will always have his back. Becca Thorpe has spent her life protecting her brother Jase with no one protecting her. From the first moment Sam sees Becca he feels the need to be close and protect her. Sam doesn't mix business with pleasure but Becca needs a job and Sam has one to offer. He has need to keep her close but can he keep his hands to himself?

    Fantastic!

    Hott Synopsis:
    Becca Thorpe has secrets. She’s on the run in search of herself. When she lands in Lucky Harbor she finds that she she’s having trouble moving on.
    It could be the pacific ocean. Or the ranch popcorn. But it’s most likely the SGS, sexy grumpy surfer, that works – and works out – just outside her apartment window.
    Will she return to the glam life she escaped or stay in the lucky life she’s found?

    Hott Review:
    What I liked: It’s in His Kiss was adorable. I laughed and cried.
    I really liked Becca and Sam and their romance and baggage were absolutely believable.
    What I didn’t like: The steam wasn’t tremendous, though there were a few scorchers. Even then it was mostly just implied.
    What I didn’t enjoy was the foul language. It wasn’t permeated just unnecessary.

    I loved this story.  Sam is one of my top 3 male favorites.  Becca Thorpe is also one of my favorite characters.  I liked the story and how characters from the past books were included - LOVED THAT.  I also enjoyed the little nick names SGS was my favorite.  The story was funny, heart warming with some passion mixed in that made it difficult to put the book down.  Can't wait for the next book!
