Holy hell, this is an AMAZING book. As an avid reader, almost obsessively so, I find myself bored by a lot of the books I read. They just don't provoke any emotions from the reader. Not this book though. Yes, it is heavy and intense and heartbreaking, but it is also a story about strength, love, faith and Hope. There are so many words of wisdom throughout this book that can be applied to everyone, not just those who have struggled with horrific events and tragedy. I loved Slammed and Point of Retreat, so I had a feeling that I would not be disappointed by Hoover's newest book. This book ranks among the top 10 books I have read this year and according to Goodreads, I have read and rated 312 books since August. (Like I said, I love to read!) Do NOT pass the opportunity to read Hopeless. This is the very first book I have ever written a review on, but I felt it almost a responsibility to inform all readers out there what an absolute must read this book is. From the writing style, the grammar, the plot, the length of the book; 264 pages, but not a quick read, everything about Hopeless is truly incredible.

Main character relives memories of rape/incest. If you have trouble with this subject manner you should skip this one.

Wow. Just wow. I read this book in one sitting. I hesitated to put it down even for a bathroom break. There are no words to express the perfection of this reading experience. I am not a young adult. I have been an avid reader for 33 years, so you can trust me when I say... Just buy it. You won't regret it.

This is a must read. It is so well written you have a hard time coming back to reality. You feel like you are connected with the characters. This provokes very intense emotions. If i had to describe this book in one word it would be real!

Where to even begin but with just one word... BEAUTIFUL
Hopeless was beyond anything I expected. I heard this book was fantastic based on all the reviews I read but I didn't expect it to take a hold of me like it has and have me begging for more. Colleen Hoover you have once again blown me away. I will have to admit that I really dislike reviews that spill away the whole book, so I will leave you all with just a few points.
1.)Do not borrow this book! You need to buy it and plan on reading it over and over and over and over and over........This book needs to be honored in your collection because it is brilliant!
2.)Be prepared for an emotional ride so DO NOT FORGET your box of tissues!
3.) Cut off the world around you and fully submerge yourself into this book because trust me...Well just trust me and lock yourself in a room, turn off the cell, unplug the house phone, put your kids to bed, send your husband/boyfriend/partner ANYONE out for a night of fun because you need to cut yourself off from everything!!!!!!!
4.)Most importantly take the time to really understand what this book is all about. Take the time to rip parts of this book out and take them along with you for always. So many life insights that make me look at the world (and the sky) differently! So beautiful!
Oh, and one more thing. :-) Colleen Hoover I would love you even more than I already do if you surprised us with a book 2!!!!! So much is in the future for these two and I would love to have more time with Six and Breckin! Love them!

This book, just like Slammed and Point of Retreat, made me laugh out loud and cry onto my e-reader. The story line is very intense and will break your heart but then give you hope that people, even in the worst of situations, can survive and become stronger. This is definitely a must-read!

Hands down this is one of the greatest books I have read! I started it this morning and just finished! The plot is amazing and always leaves you hanging and wanting to know more! Great easy read I would reccomanded to anyone!

I was skeptical about purchasing this book at first but i immediatly fell in love. I stayed up until 5 in the morning to finish the book because I couldnt put it down. I found myself experiencing everything the characters did and feeling every emotion they did. This book wasnt filled with fairytale fluff. It was raw and real. Its relatiable and realistic. Reading this book you will find yourself laughing and crying along with sky and the other characters. There is an amazing love story and an unexpected twist. like a slap in the face. Trust me when i say you wont see it coming. This book is unique in every way and lacks unrealistic cliches.Sky's story will stick with me forever. I highley recommend this book. I never write reviews so obviously it had to be pretty dam good.This book is so beautifully written and amazing. Props to colleen.

The story handles some very heavy topics that once they are revealled make everthing make sense. I just cannot decide if I liked this book or not. There is a solid attempt at character development. The writing is good. But I found myself finishing the book more out of a complusion to leave things unfinished than needed to know what happened. It was almost predicitable. I think the author did a good job of handling the heavy issues in this story but I cannot help but feel that something is lacking.

This was a surprisingly amazing book. I almost put it down after the first chapter because I didn't understand what was going on, but it all becomes clear later on. Brilliant writing with breathtakingly real characters.

His emotional intelligence was off the charts and he's supposed to be an eighteen year old boy. Other than that, it was a nice, quick read. There were a couple of twists that surprised me.

On page 48 and about ready to give up. Any girl who thinks that calling her bff a "slut" all of the time is cute is deluded. If book doesnt pick up soon, Im done!

This isn't the type of book I usually read and I've NEVER left a review before, however, I had to share my absolute love for this book. While some of what happens is easy to figure out, other parts of the book had me completely shocked. I laughed, cried, got angry, and literally sobbed at one point. This author has the rare ability to make me feel things and completely understand the characters emotions! This is the type of book that I will think about for days and never forget!!!

Ok so where to start? I just finished reading this book and I have so many emotions going on in my head and heart right now I am not sure I can put all that I am feeling into words. :) This book, was so well written. The subject very hard to take but I am sure out there in the world it happens all the time. But the way Colleen wrote the story made it not only so real but did it in a way that it made it into something more than what the meat of the story was about. It took more into how they were feeling every step of the way, every character. It also brought in a Romance that was there from the start but they didn't know it and it developed all along the way but then when you found out where it really started from you were amazed! Colleen, all I can say is Thank You for one of the most wonderful stories I have read to date. I heart you so much for that!
