I did not care for this book. Nothing to make me feel for them. Maya was just a weak willed wuss. Cam just seemed to like getting his feelings sh*t on. Blah

I have been in love with Meredith's writing since I first got my hands on the Hacker series. This my friends, is not the Hacker series, be prepared.
On My Knees had me sucked in from the first chapter. The way that Meredith describes the characters and the feelings they are going through is so captivating. It pulls you right in.
Maya and Cam's relationship is so beautiful. But at times I was hanging on the edge of my seat anticipating what was going to come next. I really honestly don't know how to put into words how good this book was!
I laughed, cried, was frustrated as hell, I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride. But one that I will ride over and over.
I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to read a phenomenal story. Oh and if you have had the pleasure of reading the Hacker series, you know that Meredith can really write a hot sex scene, this book has some seriously HOT SCENES!!!

Meredith Wild is an amazing writer! She proves this again with On My Knees. This is going to be an outstanding series that will take us romance groupies to our knees! She tells the story of Cam and Maya. College sweethearts with some crazy passion between them.One soul bearing question leaves Maya and Cam devastated. Fast forward 5 years....here is where heartache ,love and determination take on a whole new meaning. What will Maya and Cams future hold? You absolutely have to read this book to find out! If I could give this book more stars I would. #BravoMeredith

The writing was fine. The story was fine. The characters were fine. It was simply a boring read. I guess I just expected more with the high ratings, but I couldn't finish the book. Simply nothing exiting about this story. I felt like I was just reading about someone's day to day life.

Couldn't be more different than the Hardwire series, but I loved it nevertheless. It is a rollercoaster of emotions but the deep love between the characters is everpresent. It was a fantastic story, written superbly, and with the characters developing without rush. It really was superb. And there are no cliffhangers. The series continues but focusing on other characters.

If you loved the Hacker series you will love this! IMO it is a different feel than the Hacker series and yet just as gritty, sultry and sassy.
Maya and Cameron took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions throughout the book. Since it is told from both point of views, you know the insights and intricacies of the characters actions and emotions. It truly pulls at the heartstrings of anyone who has ever experienced young love and the heartbreak associated with it.

I started the novel with the prologue and it was totally hot!!! Once chapter one started I was hooked.
Maya is a loyal love bird at heart, but when life turns upside down her demeanor changes. She drinks just to black out and forget the world. The life she lives is Strong, Confident, Sexy, and Naive, but when love returns she starts to question everything. Only time will tell if she opens up for her happy ever after.
Cameron is a stiff, straight forward, sexy, and lost man. Ever since the day the word no was uttered he has tormented himself. Cameron went to war with his country and himself. He started over in NYC with his brother and sister. Would it be the start of something great or the demise he always thought he deserved?
On My Knees will have you laughing, Upset, Crying, totally involved and ultimately turned on. That is a lot of emotion for just one book but you will feel it all.
I hope you love On My Knees and Meredith Wild as much as I do. Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoy the book. ~JessicaAnn

Maya Jacobs had the love of her life at a very young age, but had withheld certain things about her family which lead her to give Cameron the only answer she thought possible when he asked her to marry him.
Years past and Maya's life is filled with working hard and alcohol. She uses partying to escape her feelings of regret and heartbreak. Maya struggles daily with what could have been.
Cameron Bridge is a military man. He has spent the past few years using the military as a means to forget his love and loss of Maya. After years on deployment he decides to start all over and start his own business in New York.
Fate has seemed to bring Maya and Jacob lives back together. Both have changed, especially Maya, but the feelings they both have tried to bury seem to resurface. Can the love they once shared blossom and heal the wounds that are hidden deep inside their souls?
I enjoyed this book. Maya and Cameron's relationship is intense and filled with all sorts of emotions. Their sexual relationship is very steamy. Sometimes I wanted to yell at Maya and tell her to just take him back. On the other hand I hated Cameron's reaction in the prologue but he soon made up for it. This was a great story that ended with an HEA. I can't wait to read about Darren and Vanessa.

This was an intense read. The prologue killed me, yet it doesn’t stop there- oh no.
This heartbreaking tale follows Maya for five years- where she is determined to not need anyone again. Drinking, hooking up and work are the only things that fill her life. She knows what real love felt like-Cameron was the one. But this is what her life has become- all because of her fear and emotional shutdown (it was an overwhelming end to an emotional week!) that had Cameron walking out of her life.
Five years later Cameron has never stopped thinking about Maya. He realizes he gave her an impossible choice, and now wants closure. Or does he?
The sexual tension is off the charts. The push and pull insane. Will they, won’t they… times infinity! Ok, maybe a slight exaggeration, but you get what I mean. I have to say if Maya were real I would’ve choked her then made her listen to the truth. Fortunately Cam doesn’t give up- even when his family would like otherwise- defending and protecting his girl. What is one hell of a journey they make together. And it is beautiful.

I love meredith wilds writing. I have read The Hacker Series so far and love it. This book did not disappoint either. Cam and Maya's story is heart and gut wrenching and I could not put it down. A must read! Can't wait until her next book. Hurry pleeeaaase!!!!!!!

I love a great solider story and Meredith Wild hit this out out of the park.
You will love the hard edge to Maya and the unrelenting love Cameron has for her as you read this story. Love truly defies the test of time, struggle, and heart ache in this captivating love story of two people
re-learning what it means to fall in love.
Torn apart by a dedication to serve and protect Cameron leaves Maya heartbroken beyond repair when he chooses to enlist in the service. As she tries to make something of herself in the world of Wall Street, Maya hardens her heart. That is until they meet again on the streets of New York, years after their devastating break up.
Do these lost souls rekindle what they once had or will their past be too much to overcome their true love? This story takes you on an emotional journey of rediscovering a love lost and what can happen if you allow the future to overtake the past.
I highly recommend this as a 2014 must read!
This book is about the impact our decisions have on our lives. It is also about courage and strength of character. It is also, an amazing love story of a passion and depth of feeling that endures.
As noted, Maya has a troubled family and she carries the responsibility for their care. Her roots and family history is something she keeps secret out of embarrassment.
Cameron and Maya adore each other. It should not matter, but Maya cares about the fact that they come from opposite sides of the perennial tracks. It is very difficult for Maya to overcome the inadequacy that she feels regarding her past.
This love story is poignant and mature. Both Maya and Cam will need to find the strength to set aside family pressures, hurt feelings, and the chism created by their last meeting 5 years ago. As our story evolves, their love will need to be allowed to breath and grow or they will just have to accept defeat.
I was deeply moved by the writing style and prose of this book. Meredith Wild has given us a book in which we can experience the lives of this young couple as if they were real.

Thanks to the author, I was allowed to read a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review. This is a story about lost love and second chances. Cameron and Maya parted ways on bad terms after Maya would not accept his marriage proposal. Five years later, they discover each other in the same city only blocks apart. The story follows them as they attempt to get to know each other again, the whole time with Cameron trying to convince Maya to come back to him.
Maya is a troubled soul from the beginning. She doesn’t feel like she is as good as other people because of her background. She struggles from family difficulties that she doesn’t want to share with anyone else. She has worked towards a goal in her professional life seeking something that will help with her personal struggles. The only place she finds relief is with her partying weekends. When Cam comes back into her life, he discovers a young woman who is very different from the girl he left.
This story was very touching in many ways. It was sweet the way Cam worked so hard to help Maya deal with her struggles in ways other than partying. Maya faced some tremendous obstacles with her work and after his initial bad response, Cam was there for her. Cam loved her through everything and pushed hard for her to see that. Maya’s character grew more in the timeline of the book during her time with Cam than she had in her five years away from him. This book had a lot of emotional turns. Well written book that I enjoyed reading. Looking forward to the next in the series. 4.5 stars.

OMG!!!!!! Once again Meredith Wild has knocked it out of the park with this new book series :)
I became a huge fan with the Hacker Series, and Meredith hasn't disappointed with The Bridge Series. If you haven't read Meredith Wild's books... what are you waiting for.
From the first chapter you get sucked into Cameron and Maya's story.
I love the way Meredith developed each character and their back story, it kept me wanting to read more and not put the book down. The interaction between Cameron and Maya was so well written, I loved how we read Cameron's take on things as well, it gave more depth and understanding to the story. Especially since men are way more complicated than women (my husband hates when I state that little factoid...lol) and Meredith got i
