My little (BIG) brother loved lacey since she was in FlyLeaf. He would go to her concerts & did'nt care if he went alone. He was on top of her life stories as well as her music. He would always listen to her sing and i was honestly annoyed (At first) becuase i din't know her music. Then he finally explained what each song meant in her life and i noticed so many similarities to my life. I began to like her as an artist. When she finally married and quit the group, he was sad becuase he can no longer listen to her sing. Then we found out she was having a baby. This would make him happy knowing she was happy. During life expierences i was going threw i began to seek strenghth and possitive words to help me threw the day. In every possitive verse was in the bible. I started seeking more and more. Until i found that every situation has a possitive word from the bible. I began to see the change in me as a person . That's when i decided i have been happyer than ever before. My brother knowing this change in me :told me about a song "The Reason". I listened to it and was obsessed becuase i felt she was talking to me. I am the reason.. a good reason. I continued to look for more of her songs and am amazed by her story i wanted to know more and more becuase her transition and mine were so alike. My brother being a "Non believer" was compeled but to listen to her music becuase she was still his favorite artist. I would pray for him to be saved or maybe just believe. One night as i was with hm i had mentioned her and my brother on TWITTER & said: i hope my brother believes. That SAME day she PM him and said that Jesus loves him Weather he believes or not....He was in shock! So was i! Now this year he came home and showed me a Barnes & Nobal bag and in it was two books!! I opened it and there it was : The Reason By Lacey . I cried and hugged him...He is almost there <3 Thanks Lacey for your Brave heart to transform your self as well as your true followers....

I read the entirety of 'The Reason' in one sitting, and was left with this huge heart of joy and fulfillment. And more importantly, a greater understanding of what it means to be a human being who loves God. Lacey has a gift for explaining the intricacies of the feelings, questions and thoughts that come with being someone who follows Christ. She has touched so many lives with her story, and now that this book is out, I think it will inevitably bless more people.
This book isn’t just for Flyleaf fans. Although it does explain her departure, and it gives insight to things that Flyleaf fans might be curious about; this book is more than that. It tells a beautiful story of a girl who was in the same painful place that we’ve all been in, and how she discovered a life worth living.
Buy it — your life will be better because of it. I promise.
