What’s a mother to do? The only remaining heir Jonathan, Earl of Fairley needs to get married and produce offspring. He has rejected every eligible female his mother has introduced him to. So being a smart mom she tries a little reverse psychology and introduces him to a female she feels won’t do.
Lynsay Sands is one of my very favorite authors. She writes fun and sexy vampires and hysterical historicals. Knight of My Dreams falls into the latter category and while not as outragesly funny as some of her other work still a fun read.

This book is really short , but I still enjoyed it. Basically mom want Jonathan to get married he was opposed so she got the king envolved and now Jonathan must find a wife. The search begins, so mom has this devilish plan on who he will marry ....Jonathan just doesn't see it coming.

Jonathan, Earl of Fairley, is ordered to appear before the King. Once he arrives at court, he is shocked by the King's order and believes his mother is conniving against him. He is told he must find a bride in two weeks or the King will appoint one. The race is on to find someone he can spend the rest of his life with...
Jonathan has hit the nail on the head with his mothers interference. From the start, she is carefully pushing Jonathan toward the specific eligible lady of the court. Carefully trying to keep her intentions under wraps and enlisting help in her ploy.
Lady Alice doesn't believe she is the marrying kind. But when Jonathan and Alice meet their seems to be instant chemistry...so why does his mother do everything in her power to push them apart.
In a world where love is not a priority in marriages, Alice and Jonathan went from interest to declarations of love rather quickly.
What I especially enjoyed was the matchmaking attempts by Jonathan's mother. This is a fun, entertaining and very quick read. If you are looking for a short read with a HEA, check out this witty, historical romance.
Lynsay Sands does it again with this novella about how far a loving interfering mom will go to get her son wed. I read her write up on her website and I knew I needed to see where this entertaining story ended. I truly like how she wrote this with all the twists, turns, and humor. It really made my day and was an enjoyable easy read.
