The first to materialize in my door is Derek. “Your father wants you.” Next to him is my asshole half brother, Wyatt, and he looks none too pleased to see me. What can I say? It’s mutual. I jump into my jeans. “He sent two of you?” I ask, almost laughing. “If I were a girl, I guess this would be the part where my feelings get hurt.”
Both men walk into the room, checking out the territory with quick flicks of their eyes. They don’t see me coming. In less than a second, I’ve got Derek pinned up against the wall and I’ve got Wyatt in a choke hold. I spin them to face the door as I watch the rest of the men shuffle in. Seven of them, plus the two squirming in my hold. The nine-member squad composes the Underground enforcing committee led by my father—every man here with a different level of skills. None, not a single one of them, as skilled as I.
“You know damn well if it involved you, it’d be a nine-man mission,” Eric Slater, my father’s brother and right hand, says as he steps inside. Eric is stern, silent, and dangerous. He’s my uncle and the closest thing to a dad I had growing up. He taught me to live among my father’s private little mob—no, not live. He taught me to survive. To take my circumstances and thrive. Because of him, I grew smarter, stronger, meaner. I learned whatever there was to learn, multiplied by the billionth power. The power of kill or be killed. Doesn’t matter if you’ll use the skill, it’s an insurance. Ever heard of insurances, boy? People who have insurances rarely use them. It’s those who don’t have shit who end up needing one. See that arrow? Use it. See that knife? Wield it, fling it, learn how to use the least amount of effort to do the most amount of damage. . . .
I’ve got all kinds of insurances. My entire mind is a computer programmed to think the worst of a situation, all in less than a second. Right now, I know for a fact all these men are armed. Some of them carry two weapons, under their socks, at the small of their backs, or in the front flaps of their jackets. Eric watches my eyes scan each and every one of them, and he smiles, clearly proud of me. He opens his jacket and looks down at the gun on his hip. “You want to touch my piece? Here you go, Grey.” He pulls it out and extends it, the barrel in his hand.
I let go of the two men in my grasp when I sense Wyatt is about two seconds from passing out. I pull them back, then with a shove send them smashing against the wall. “I don’t give a shit what he wants to say to me,” I state.
Eric looks around my bedroom. My apartment is perfectly clean. I don’t do mess. I have a reputation and I like hearing a pin drop . . . the reason I heard these assholes enter my studio loft in the first place. “Still banging these whores? With that fucking face, you can get a goddess, Grey.”
He eyes the woman in my bed. She’s no masterpiece, true, but she looks just fine pressed down against the mattress with her ass in the air, and she expects absolutely nothing of me except money. Money I can give. Money and cock, both of which I have in abundance.
I grab the dress on the floor and toss it to the whore. “Time to get out and go home, sweetheart.” Then to Eric: “My answer is no.”
I peel off a couple of bills from a stack on my nightstand and push them into the whore’s extended hand. She makes a big show out of rolling them into her bra, and the men part to let her pass, some of them whistling while she flips them off.
Eric comes closer to me and lowers his voice. “He’s got leukemia, Greyson. He needs to pass on the reins to his son.”
“Don’t look at me like I can feel pity anymore.”
“He’s got the act cleaned up. No more killing. All the businesses are strictly financial now. We’ve no more open enemies. The Underground is quite a successful enterprise, and he wants to officially pass it on to his son. Are you that cold blooded you’d deny him his last request?”
“What can I say, his blood runs through my veins.” I grab a black T-shirt and jerk it on, not out of modesty, but so that I can start loading up my babies. My Glock, a Ka-Bar, two smaller knives, two silver stars.
“Boy . . .” He steps to me, and I meet his lone dark eye—not the fake one. I haven’t seen him in several years. He’s the one who taught me how to use a .38 Special. “He’s dying,” he stresses meaningfully, curling his hand over my shoulder. “It won’t be long. He’s got six months, if not less.”
“I’m surprised he thought I’d care.”
“Maybe when you’re done womanizing, you’ll start to care. We”—he points at the men in the room—“want you to be the one who takes control. We’ll be loyal to you.”
I cross my arms and look at my half brother, Wyatt, the “Whiz”—my father’s pet. “As long as I’m his lapdog and do as he says? No thanks.”
“We’ll be loyal to you,” he stresses. “Only you.”
He jerks his head toward the guys. One of them cuts the center of his palm. Soon they all follow.
Blood starts dripping on my floor.
Eric ducks his head and slices his own palm. “We’re pledging to you.” He holds out his bleeding hand.
“I’m not your leader,” I say.
“You will be our leader when you realize your father is finally willing to reveal your mother’s location.”
Ice spreads through my veins, and my voice hardens as Eric mentions her. “What do you know about my mother?”
“He knows where she is, and it’ll die with him if you don’t come with us. Morphine makes him delusional. We need you back, Greyson.”
My face reveals nothing of the turmoil I feel. My mother. The only good I remember. I’ll never forget the look on her face when I made my first kill. Right in front of her, I lost my humanity and let my mother see that her son had turned into an animal. “Where is he?” I growl out.
“He’s flying to a fight location; we have a plane ready to meet him there.”
I shove things into a black duffel. A laptop. More weapons. When you deal with my father, you can’t deal with him straight. My father taught me to be crooked. Guess I learned from the best. I grab my Leatherman tool knife, cut deeply into my palm, and slam it into Eric’s hand, our bloods meshing. “Until we find her,” I whisper. The other men come over and shake hands with me.
I search their eyes and make sure they meet my stare. There’s a threat in my gaze and I know that if they know me, they’ll heed it.
No matter what words are spoken, what acts are committed, I never, ever take my eyes off someone else’s. The way they flick to the left or to the right, a tiny flicker, tells me more than when I hack into someone’s computer. But I do that too.
I trust no one. My right hand does not trust my left. But as the most powerful of the nine men I’m faced with, the one I least trust is Eric Slater. As it happens, he’s the one I most care about too. He and my friend C. C. Hamilton—but C.C.’s been visiting me even after I left, secretly helping me track my mother. I trust him as far as I could ever trust a human being. Which still means I interrogate the crap out of him every time he comes in. I can never be sure if my father knows he’s meeting me.
Hell, even with the blood oath, I’m going to have to test each and every one of these men’s loyalties before they can get any semblance of trust from me.

NOW, AN AIRPLANE flight later, we find my father in a closed room wired with cameras, in the Los Angeles Underground. The Underground is our livelihood. A place where fighters square off against each other every season, two or three times a week. We organize events, sell tickets, program the fights in warehouses, bars, parking lots—wherever we can get the people in and get a good deal. The tickets alone make us a fortune. But the gambling on the side makes us ten times more.
Tonight, we’re in a warehouse-turned-bar crammed with screaming people and rowdy fights. I used to enjoy strategically planning the locations where the fights would take place, which fighter would face who next, but it’s all being taken care of by the rest of the team. Everything from the organizing, to the fights, to the gambling.
I head down with Eric as the fights are under way, my eyes scanning the crowd, gauging the number of spectators, the location of security cameras, the exits.
We access a small dark hallway and then stop at the final door before Eric jerks it open. “I take your presence here tonight as acceptance of my offer?” my father asks the moment the door swings open and I step inside. I check the room for the exits, windows, the number of people.
He laughs, but it’s not a strong sound.
“When you’re done wondering if I have a sniper around ready to hit you, maybe you’d come closer. One would think my mere presence offends you.”
I smile coldly at him. Julian Slater is called “Slaughter” among his enemies; he’s been suspected as a man who silences his problems the old way. Even weak and in a wheelchair, I will never underestimate the damage my father can do. In a world measuring one’s destructive capabilities, my father would be the nuclear bomb, and wouldn’t you know it? Bastard’s already throwing verbal vomit my way. “You look fit as a bull, Greyson. I bet you still turn tires for fun and do a couple of cunts in your sleep. I’d give more than a penny to know what your thoughts are right now, and you know how stingy I can be. Hell, you know what I do if a single penny is stolen from me.”
“I remember clearly. Being I’ve done the dirty work for you. So let’s spare you that penny. I’m thinking, why bother to wait for you to die? I could smash your oxygen tank right now and take care of you nicely.” Slowly, I hold his gaze with a cold smile, pull out my black leather gloves from the back pocket of my jeans, and start sliding one hand inside.
He glares at me for a quiet moment. “When you’re done disrespecting, go and clean up, Greyson.”
One of the guys steps forward with a suit.
I calmly slip my hand into my other leather glove.
“As before, no one will know your name,” my father begins in a softer tone. “You can have money and the life you want as my son—in fact, I demand you live like a prince. But I need your head and heart in this. The job comes first, and I’ll have your word on that.”
“I have no heart, but you can have my head. The job is all there is and all that’s ever been. I AM my job.”
Silence.
We survey each other.
I can see the respect in his eyes, even, maybe, a little fear. I’m no longer a thirteen-year-old, easily bullied by him.
“For the past five years of your absence, my clients . . .” he begins, “. . . they’ve seen no weakness from us at the Underground. We can’t forgive a single cent owed or we’ll be seen as weak—and right now there are many collections left to be done.”
“Why not have your minions do it?”
“Because there’s no one as clean as you. Not even the fighters know who you are. Zero trace. You’re in, you’re out, no casualties, and a hundred percent success rate.”
Eric pulls out my father’s old Beretta and offers it to me as some peace symbol, and when I find it in my hand, slightly over two pounds of steel, I find myself flipping it around and aiming it at my father’s forehead. “How about instead I take your Beretta Storm and encourage you to start telling me where my mother is first?”
He looks at me icily. “When you get the job done, I’ll reveal your mother’s location.”
I cock the gun instead. “You can die first, old man. You’re well on your way already and I want to see her.”
My father’s eyes flick to Eric, and then to me. I wonder if Eric will really be “loyal” to me while my father sits there, pretty as you please.
“If I die,” my father begins, “her location will be safely revealed in an envelope, already in a secure location. But I won’t reveal shit until you prove to me, through the collection of what every name on this list owes me, that you are—even after these years apart—loyal to me. You do that, Greyson, and the Underground is yours.”
Eric walks over to a nearby chest and produces a long list.
“We won’t be using your real name,” Eric whispers as he hands it over. “You’re the Enforcer now, our Collector; you go by your old alias.”
“Zero,” the rest of the men in the room say, almost reverently. Because I have zero identity, and leave zero traces. I run through cell phones like I run through socks. I am a nothing, a number, not even human. “Maybe I don’t respond to that alias anymore,” I mutter, curling my fingers inside my leather gloves before I stretch them out and open the list.
“You will respond to it because you’re my son. And you want to see her. Now get changed, and work your way down the list.”
I scan the names, top to bottom. “Forty-eight people to blackmail, scare, torture, or simply rob in order to get my mother’s location?”
“Forty-eight people who owe me, who have something that belongs to me that needs to be retrieved.”
A familiar chill settles deep in my bones as I grab the suit by the hanger and head to the door, trying to calculate how long getting pertinent information about each of these debtors will take me. How many months it’ll take me to meet with them, try to bargain the nice way—then the hard way.
“Oh, and son,” he calls, his voice gaining strength as I spin around. “Welcome back.”
I send him an icy smile. Because he’s not sick. I’d bet this list on it. But I want to find my mother. The only thing in my life I’ve ever loved. If I have to kill to find her, I will.
“I hope your death is slow,” I whisper at my father, looking into his cold slate eyes. “Slow and painful.”

If you liked "Real" then you'll absolutely LOVE "Rogue". Greyson King is phenomenal! Surprising details about Melanie are revealed. You cannot go wrong with this one. I can't wait for more from Katy Evans!

Katy Evans is a terrific author. I dont know how she makes you feel the emotions of her characters, but its like your the character yourself, living their lives and experiences. Great book as always, but im already sad that Rogue ended so soon!

4.5 - "You're my knight in leather gloves who went rogue." Stars!
I think there is always the urge to compare when reading a book by an author who has in the past provided you with one of your hands-down, fall-in-love-with-from-the-first-page book boyfriends. Katy Evans is one of those authors for me, I will never forget or fall out of love with Remington Tate and because of that I initially started Rogue with a little trepidation. I wanted to judge Greyson on his own merits rather than against the merits of a man who is essentially incomparable.
"I'm Greyson King and I'm your man."
I suppose the first question would then be has Katy managed it? For me that would be a yes, Grey is different, dissimilar and wholly unique. He is dark, dirty, blunt and brutal.
He’s a ten. I’ve never, ever been with a ten. And the way that he looks at me... I’ve seen that look before. The look that Remington Tate gives Brooke. That look. He’s giving it to me and I’m dying inside. Can I die from one look? And if one look can kill me, then what would one touch do?
Melanie has been on Grey’s radar for a while, being a part of the family that controls the Underground and all of the fights and gambling that take place therein, he has seen her on the security footage attending Remy’s fights with Brooke. She has his attention for a whole different reason now though, her name is on a list, a list that once completed will offer him answers. In order to get those answers he has to become Zero, the stuff of Melanie’s nightmares.
She’s my mark, but she’s marked me.
Grey – I’m going to be everything you never wanted.” ...
“Nothing that you need.” ...
“I’m not the man of your dreams, Melanie, I’m your worst nightmare.”
So what happens when a relationship that is built on smoke and mirrors, half-truths and omissions, turns into something more than just sex? When the person keeping the secret and the person that is ultimately the reason for secret come together... This is in essence the basis for Grey and Melanie’s story, and the drama that unfolds as people around then realise their connection.
He’s like every boy I made out with under the bleachers, every boy I’ve ever wanted who didn’t want me, everything that was forbidden to me.
She makes me feel like I’m not a robot, like I’m flesh and blood, a man, not a number, not a job… not a monster, not a b*****d, not a zero.
The writing, the development and the flow of the storyline are absolutely perfect. As the drama unfolds, the secrets revealed and the emotions build up, you are with Grey and Melanie every step of the way. The dual POV really helps with this, as although the story is wholly theirs as a couple, a lot of it happens to them as individuals, and I liked that we got the whole story from both of them in the one book this time.
”With you and me, there are no givens. No rules. Just what we want. And I want every inch of you. I want what you’ve given no one.”
”I want you like I want a new life, Melanie.”
Melanie and Greyson have their own individual personalities and quirks, you don't feel like you are reading a rehash book, cobbled together from previous characters just with different names and scenarios. The only reason this didn’t hit a 5 for me... I wasn’t a massive fan of Melanie prior to her getting her own book, and although I understand her more now after Rogue, I still found her a little immature at points. I still fell in love with the author and her style of writing all over again though.

If u love remy and brookes story u will fall for melanie and grayson just as hard. Love the book. Only problem is that i got nothing done today since i couldnt put it down!

I loved Real, Mine and Remy but Rogue was awesome! I even laughed out loud! I didn't feel as some others did about the characters not being developed. I felt the story was well rounded, the characters were well rounded and I recommend it to anyone that liked Remy and Brooke's story. I think you'll love Melanie's journey to find love. And Grey is now one of my new faves as well!!!!!

I've had this book on my radar since the day Katy Evans announced it was coming. I was expecting a story that was hot and a little funny, since Melanie is a little goofy. Instead I was amazed by the feelings and plot twists this story took.
I think I was most impressed with Melanie. Especially since I honestly didn't think much of her until I read this book. I really like her. She's so much more than Brooke's best friend. I had no idea Melanie was so strong, stubborn, and yet so fragile. I also didn't know she was a woman who was willing to take hard knocks to find a man who would love her with as much love as she had to give. I love how Melanie had so much faith, even when everyone around her was telling her not to listen to her instincts.
Just thinking about Greyson makes me swoon. I found it so interesting how much I was attracted to him. I mean this is a man who knows he's isn't "good" for Melanie, yet can't stay away from her. And boy does he try. After reading this book, I can totally understand why Katy Evans had to change her plot. There is no way Greyson/Zero would ever allow his woman to be with anyone else, especially someone who was weaker and not worthy of Melanie. I think what endeared me most to Greyson was his quest. More than one portion of the book broke my heart, but learning about him was the biggest chunk. My heart literally hurt.
Just when I think Katy Evans can't top her Remington Tate books, she gives us this masterpiece of a book. I mean the story is fantastic, the characters are amazing, and I can't even begin to tell you all the emotions I experienced while I read this book. I read it in one sitting a few hours because I couldn't put it down. I recommend this book to anyone who likes high octane books with passion. I'd also like to note that even though this book can be considered book 4 in the series, it can be read as a stand alone. Yes there was a brief glimpse of Remington, Brooke, and Racer, and it was great to see them. Knowing that I've underestimated Katy Evans's talent only raises my excitement for Ripped which is Pandora's story.

Ah, Katy Evans!! I adore you. It is no secret that I fell in love with your writing when I first read Real last year, but you changed on me with Rogue. You wrote a story that was not only hot (whew, get some ice) but a story that made me fall into your words and want to live there! Rogue is this amazing, beautiful story that pulls at your emotions and makes time disappear, I loved every page and was sad when I got to the end. Melanie and Greyson's story in Rogue is special. It is different and it is fabulous! I knew I was going to get a good story from Katy Evans but she WOWED me with Rogue (to the point I email fan-girled her to tell her this) and I have a whole new level of awe and amazement for the talent that is Katy Evans.
Rogue, damn. This was one of the best books I have read this year. I checked, I have given six 5-star reviews so far in 2014 (that is out of almost 150 books read by me in 2014) and I would definitely say Rogue is right at the top! I can't pinpoint what exactly makes this book so different from all the other books I have been reading lately, but it has to do with a combination of the writing style, the story itself, the characters and the dialogue. I was hooked at page one and I fell in love with Greyson immediately. The pacing of this book was great, it didn't speed you through things fast, their was a slow burn, great tension and then an exciting pace when one was needed.
Melanie and Greyson's story was just a treat to read. I loved that their situation, though filled with dramatic things, wasn't an angst-filled/tug-of-war on your heart read, it was exactly what it needed to be to get these two characters to a believable place at the end of the story (vague enough for you?). Katy Evans wrote Melanie and Greyson's story with a vulnerability that was unique and with an honesty that was addicting. I believed their fall into love, you get wrapped up in the emotional struggle that Greyson is dealing with, you understand Melanie's need to find love and you get why kissing lots of frog sometimes works out. Together Melanie and Greyson were magic!
If you have read the Real series and think you know Melanie, you are wrong. I LOVED the Melanie we meet in Rogue and I really hope we get to see more of her in the next installment in the Real series. If you have never read Real or Real wasn't your cup of tea (no judgement here) give Rogue a try. Katy Evans really delivers a powerful story, great emotion and strong characters that are truly "real".
I HIGHLY recommend Rogue and if you can only read/buy one book this week I would grab Rogue, you will not be let down! While you are reading Rogue this weekend I will be sighing and waiting for Pandora's story to come out later this year or re-reading Rogue.
I can't wait for more from Katy Evans!

I had to take a couple of days before reviewing this book and to make sure I could figure out what was missing. The characters here are emotionally charged, but so was Remy and I loved all his books. But the characters in this book were not developed properly, building the emotions and getting us wrapped in their worlds and feelings. Add to that the weak storyline. It was suppose to be a dark book, with some suspense, but it amounted to nothing. There were good scenes, don't get me wrong, but interspersed with so many mediocre ones that I did not care much about the chatacters. And some scenes and dialogs were simply ridiculous (like the family charade that one other reviewer alluded to). I was also surprised at how undeveloped the secondary characters were. They would pop here and there, but almost out of the blue and fading out in the already weak storyline. Every now and then there would be one of those intense iconic scenes that we had in the Real books, just to deflate right away. Honestly, most of the narrative was so boring that I skipped pages at a time. Very disappointing because this is one of my favorite series and I preordered this and the next book a long time ago, so the anticipation had built high. Let us hope Pandora's book is better.

Without a doubt, this is one of the sexiest, hottest, steamiest books I've read in quite some time! I loved Remy, but holy cannoli, GREYSON. First of all- I'm obsessed with that name. And she calls him Grey sometimes for short! *swoooooon*
We first met Melanie in Real, as she is Brooke's best friend. I liked Melanie instantly. She is fun, flirtatious, and loyal. She is a good friend to Brooke and even though Brooke is not as available in this book, they are still there for one another. I love that Mel is a hopeless romantic. She's looking for her one, her REAL. The night she meets Greyson, she catches him looking at her like Remy does Brooke- like she's the only one in existence. After their night together, Mel foolishly believes he could be her Prince Charming. However, Greyson's life is complicated with a capital C. He has a dangerous job- one that he can't be honest with Melanie about- and his job would undoubtedly put her in the line of fire. He's had his eye on Mel for some time now, but knows he needs to stay away until his task is complete. Once he's had a taste for her, he's a total goner. He becomes possessive, yet distant. He constantly tries to warn her off by telling her that he isn't the guy for her.
My heart ached for Mel. She puts on a façade for her everyone, especially her parents, leading them to believe she's happy. After a close call at birth, she doesn't want to seem ungrateful by showing her misery because life is short and it is a gift. Greyson's dismissal hurts her deeply and I hated that she felt rejected. Greyson is the first guy in a long time that she doesn't want to use and drop. He made her feel alive and she really thought that he saw something in her- something worth having and keeping.
Greyson will do anything to protect Melanie, but has to finish his job and come clean to her if he wants to have any kind of future with her. Secrecy and betrayal are bubbling beneath the surface of their relationship and threaten everything between them.
There are so many deliciously sexy scenes in this book. Greyson is intense and has a very commanding presence. When he and Mel are together, there's this desperation and raw need between them that just fuels the fire between them.
Pandora, Mel's friend and coworker, plays an interesting role in the novel. I like that she watches out for Melanie, even when it can sometimes feel like overkill. Pandora has been hurt by love in the past and I am really curious to find out who it was that hurt her and made her so jaded.
Overall, I really enjoyed Rogue and I liked seeing Greyson and Melanie open up to one another and become that person the other desperately needs.

Two words....Greyson King! I had to write this review while every emotion is fresh in my heart, my soul, my body and my mind. Greyson conquered my heart like he conquered Melanie's.
Greyson is an enforcer, collector, and has no heart...or so that's what he thinks, until he meets her. He was supposed to have "Zero" interest in Melanie, but her complete package: blonde bombshell with emerald green eyes that is loving, fun and carefree, wouldn't let him resist making her his Princess. I fell in love with Katy Evans through Remington & Brooke's story Real,Mine,Remy and Katy has done it again for me!! She wrote a lovely story that showed that everyone deserves to find love, no matter how damaged or unlucky they are.
This is a MUST BUY in my mind! I would recommend any and all of Katy Evans books <3

From the first chapter I couldn't put it down. This series just gets better and better. One of my all time fav authors now. Keep at it Ms. Evans!

Oh my GOSH!!!! The story of Greyson and Melanie was very good! I feel that Katy Evans hit a home run with this book. Her writing was very good. I loved the chemistry between Grey and Mel. It was fantastic.

Unfortunately this book can be judged by its cover. It is flat and not up lifting. It had such promise! In previous books Melanie was such a lively character and she deserved her HEA. And Greyson is a super hot, bad boy enforcer for the Underground. The story itself was interesting and well thought out. My main issue with this work was the character development or complete lack thereof. Melanie's back story was pretty good. I really grew to understand where all her feelings of inadequacy came from. However, she had more mood swings than Remy and came off as a complete brat. She was extremely immature and spineless. By her third tirade I just wanted Greyson to leave and find someone more worthy. Then there is Greyson. Again, good character in theory, but not developed at all on the page. He was disappointingly one note. Like Melanie, I just wanted to get to know him! I LOVED the flashback scene and the letter. This book desperately needed more scenes like that or more interactions with Eric or his Dad. Something, anything about how he grew up!! And then Wyatt really comes out of nowhere to play such a pivotal role and we really know nothing about him other than the bare bones. More interactions creating that messed up relationship would have been fantastic. And I am sorry but the charades scene at brunch was so unbelievably stupid I actually put my Nook down and walked away for a bit. Utterly ridiculous. I never thought I would write this but what the book needed was way fewer sex scenes and much more character development. I did not become invested in the character's lives at all this time around.

I liked this story a lot. Greyson is an intense guy! He and Melanie have that instant chemistry and connection that makes a book super hot and intriguing. I was absorbing all the details wanting to know more.
I love that this story was told from dual POV's so we got to learn the in’s and out’s of Melanie and Greyson and understand why they did what they did. I really liked them, got mad and frustrated with them, and rooted for them. There was major hotness, lots of intensity, and a good amount of drama. It was a unconventional love story and I was instantly drawn in.
Greyson was just so intense (pretty much the theme throughout) and protective, it was interesting to know what he was thinking when Melanie didn’t. Melanie, that girl... I felt bad for her, looking for love in all the wrong ways. They were both crazy drawn to each other. I really liked it when they both finally started opening up to one another. It’s a bit sad and there is definitely a heart breaking moment. I love a story that is filled with redemption and growth. They also had a really hot (sometimes over-the-top) physical attraction and connection as well, this book was not lacking in the sexy times at all.
This story was very fast paced and some parts felt rushed to me so I wondered if I had missed something, I had a lot of questions. Everything did get explained and all my questions where answered but how some of it was laid out confused me initially. That being said, I enjoyed the entire story overall, I kept wanting to know what was going to happen next.
Melanie’s friend Pandora was in this story a lot and I was not a fan right away. I know she was trying to look out for her friend but I found her very off putting. It's touched upon as to why so I'm anxious for her story in RIPPED and to really get to know her. She is rather intriguing and if anyone needs a happily ever after, it’s Pandora.
I really enjoyed Greyson meetings Melanie's parents, that was highly entertaining. There was a bit of interaction with Remy, Brooke and Riley. It was nice to see them in the story but it felt to brief in my opinion. I thought this story had a great ending, the last 25% sold it for me. I was so happy for Melanie and Greyson’s outcome.
Be prepared for a fast paced, intense ride with lots of hotness and a heck of a bad boy that will make your heart melt!

I loved this book. I enjoy reading this author. I like the spin put on this story. I was so happy the main character got her prince charming.
