    a great thriller

Pregnant Sophie Lundgren knows the risk she takes to herself and her unborn, but feels she must. She searches for the father of her baby Sam Kelly to warn him he is in trouble though she expects a cold welcome as she ran away from him five months ago.

Sophie is wounded in her quest to find him. Sam is stunned not just because his beloved Sophie is hurt though he is concerned after pulling her out of the nearby Kentucky Lake; it is the pregnancy, which he knows is his child. Hoping he learned from his previous mistake of losing his beloved Sophie, but still unsure why she suddenly vanished several months ago, Sam vows to keep her and their unborn safe. He has no intention of letting the love of his life go again whether Sophie wants him or not.

The second KGI (Kelly Group International) romantic suspense (see The Darkest Hour) is a great thriller that grips the audience from the opening moment of Sophie's return and never slows down until the final climax. Fans will appreciate this strong entry summarized by pregnant Sophie who understands first hand the naturing vs. nurturing debate as she prays her two categorical negatives multiplies into a positive as Sam believes they will.

    One hot and sexy read

No Place To Run by Maya Banks is an intense story of romance and suspense.

Sophie Lundgren had been on the run for months. Men who worked for her father were hot on her trail and Sophie only had one person left to protect her. Sophie knew her former lover Sam Kelly would protect her once he found out she was carrying his child. But would Sam forgive her when he found out the truth about Sophie?

Sam Kelly never strayed off the path before on a mission with KGI until he met Sophie. His focus should have been on his job but thoughts of Sophie kept flooding his brain. Suddenly Sophie reappears after a several months absence, nearly drowning in the lake by Sam's cabin.

Sam is shocked to reunite with Sophie, the pregnancy alone boggles his mind but her story of her family threatens everything he holds dear.

Can Sam trust Sophie and her story or will her enemies take the matters out of both their hands?

No Place to Run is a fast ride of emotion and terror. The men of the Kelly Group are tough as nails but are tender to those they love. Sam Kelly is the perfect example of a strong but sensitive man. His and Sophie relationship grows and chances as they really learn more about each other. You will not be able to put this book down once you start it. I am so glad I found this series. Bring on the next KGI agent.

Wow... now I have to buy the rest of the series.

This was a really good book. It wasn't your typical romance/sex novel it actually had a really good plot- and the plot was, you know, most of the book. I'm going to buy the third in the series. Most definitely worth a read or two.

    Ok

Book plot was ok. I could do without the constant use of the Lords name in vain. It took away from the story.

I love the KGI stories. This one was Sam and Sophie's story and even with their romance, the events that brought KGI into it and how they handled everything were amazing and had me turning the pages quickly.

When Sam was working undercover in Mexico, he met Sophie and he can't get her out of his mind after they both go their own ways. Sam doesn't know that Sophie's father is the arms dealer who he is trying to catch. It gets complicated because Sophie's father knows that Sam and the KGI guys are after him so he gets Sophie to seduce Sam and try to find out what they are doing. Sophie appears to go along with her father's suggestion but she has a different plan. Sophie shoots her father, steals a key to his vault holding his secrets and goes on the run for 5 months when she finally goes to Sam for help. Oh yeah, she is pregnant with Sam's child, too.

Like all the KGI books, this one will keep you on the edge of your seat.  Sam and his brothers don't know if they can/should trust Sophie but since she is carrying Sam's child, they want to protect her.  Protecting people is ingrained in them so that's what they do.

I recommend this book especially if you like military or ex-military stories.
