Another great Argeneau Vampire story by Lynsay Sands.
Stephano Notte was turned into a vampire 7 years ago to save his life. He ran away and changed his name to Jake Colson. When he turned 18 he found out his whole family were vampires and they were willing to turn him. He grew up on horror films where vamps were always bad so he felt betrayed and alone and never wanted to turn. Once he was he couldn't deal with it and ran. Now a family member finds him and asks for his help. He has been a bodyguard since he left.
Nicole Phillips has had several accidents that suggest her soon to be ex might be trying to kill her for her money. Family friend suggests she hire a cook/housekeeper to free up her time so she can finish her work.She agrees.
Little to either of them know Marguerite is playing matchmaker again. Jake takes the job and pretends to be a cook/housekeeper until things start to go bad and the attempts to kill Nicole become more serious. Jake takes the brunt of the attacks and manages to live through what would have killed her. His cousins come to help and then the rest of the family comes after the second attempt. Jake has also discovered that Nicole is his life mate. Now he just needs to figure out how to stop a killer so he can ask her to join him for eternity.
I always enjoy the Argeneau vampire books. The only thing that disappointed me was the ending. It was a little short and just ends with Nicole agreeing to the change. I would of like a little more of what happened after the change with the two of them and Jake's family. I gave it 4 stars for that reason.

"One Lucky Vampire" by Lynsay Sands is another good addition to her series "Argeneau Vampire Series". Well developed characters and plots.
However, you may want to read these in order as the continuing story flows better!

I love reading ms.sand books. They are funny. They are romantic and you cant put them down. Great storyline about the artist and the body gaurd who falls in love with her.

Not even out yet and I gave it 5 stars. Lynsay Sands is the absolute best. Can't wait to get my hands on it, going to be great just because of the author.

This book answered that pesky question I'd had, "What happened to Stephano?" Turned out he left his family and became Jake
Colson, bodyguard. And when what appears to be attempts on Nicole's life Marguerite gets involved by drafting Jake into playing
housekeeper. What he finds is his life mate.
I really enjoyed this book, it had the witty humor and the mystery along with a great story line that a Lynsay Sands book always has.

The ARGENEAU family series are great reads. You will laugh, cry, yell at and ith the various characters over the course of the eries.

What is up with these depressed vamps? I usually breeze right though L. Sands' book but the slow going of a depressed vampire is killing me. Love the plot loved the happily ever after but I want my clumsy/funny vamps back.

I've always been a big fan of her work but i have to say that this book was so boring and a huge disappointment. I hated all the self reflection from the characters. There was no real chemistry or buildup until the sex. I couldnt even finish it because it had nothing new to offer. Like watching paint dry. I think the series should end if this is the best Sands can come up with.

Overall I enjoyed the book.
but I expected more, romance enthusiasm something to make it worthwhile but it was missing something it did not live up to expectation of the other book s.
especially the bed bouncy time

Lynsay Sands has done it again! Even though “One Lucky Vampire” is the 19th book in her Argeneau Series, it has all new plot elements that make it stand apart from the other books. Nicole, the leading lady in this novel, could be me – she’s very realistically written and it was easy to imagine myself in her shoes. The characters are deep and have flaws and quirks, there are no perfect people (mortal or immortal) in Sands’ books! There are lots of details to the plot, as usual, and it turns out again that the couple have a lot in common that they don’t even know about. I love the Vampire mythology that is used in this series, especially the life mate bits. It makes it so sexy that they’re only for each other and the shared pleasure makes the sex scenes super erotic! I can never put her books down, and this one was no different – just had to keep reading and reading! I can’t wait for the next installment. I have already marked my calendar for February 18, 2014 when “Vampire Most Wanted” will be released.

SANDS DOES IT AGAIN & AGAIN! LOVE'M ALL!
