I loved and enjoyed reading the fabulous, fantastic, beautifully written, romantic love story Taken by Tuesday by Catherine Bybee that I received free from Goodreads First Reads.
Judy graduates from college with an Architectural Degree, moves to Los Angelos with her best friend, Meg, and both of them are going to stay at Judy's famous brother, Michael's house. While Judy is doing her internship, she keeps coming into contact with her brother's security, Rick, the guy Judy fell for last summer. Rick finally talks Judy into going out on a date with him, but as Judy leaves work to get ready for her date she is attacked in the parking garage. Rick becomes her bodyguard determined to protect her and catch the man responsible for the attack.
Read the highly recommended, enthralling and engaging love story of Judy and Rick in Book Five in the Weekday Brides Series by the talented Catherine Bybee.

Judy Gardner is graduating from college with a double major. It's been hard work, but she wanted architecture as her major.  Her father, however wanted her to have a business degree.  Her dad wanted her to come back and work in the family store.  Judy wanted to go live in California. She a brother already living  there and an internship lined up. Judy's life really takes off.
While Judy was adjusting to life in California, her brother's body guard, Rick Evans was adjusting to having another Gardner to watch.  This Gardner was a little pixie. At least that's what Rick thought. Time will tell if the two of them will ever see eye to eye.

Ms. Bybee treats us to a wonderfully written story of young love being tested.  Characters  are three dimensional  and such fun to follow.  No one expects the first year after college to be anything like this.  The pace is perfect for everyone.  I found this story to be engaging and sweet. You'll be rooting for the couple in this one since so much is against them. Well done Ms. Bybee! I am your fan for life.

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's one everyone needs to read.    ~Copy of book provided by author in exchange for a fair review~

There was no doubt I was waiting on this book...I had to know what happened between Judy and Rick after the chemistry that they had at the end of the previous book! And, I was not disappointed!

While Rick tried to get his "babe" to go on a date with him, Judy grappled with whether or not she'd be losing herself by agreeing to date the man she couldn't get off of her mind. A series of events leads to Rick and Judy spending more and more time together until they finally realize it really isn't a question of whether they should be together, it's whether they could even function apart.

Catherine Bybee does an amazing job of creating a plot that sucks you in as you move through the book. She also surprises you as well when something completely unexpected threatens to end Rick and Judy's new found relationship before it really gets off the ground. There is also no shortage of sparks between the main characters which only sweetens the story.

I've been a fan of Catherine's for a long time and once again she has created a story that is worth everyone's time to pick up. I can't wait for her next book!

Have you ever finished a book and wanted to know more about the characters?   What happens after they book ends?   That is exactly how I felt about this book.   I felt a connection to Judy and Rick, I was invested in their future, and I want to know what happens next in their life.    Luckily there are more books to come in this series and these characters are sure to make an appearance.

The chemistry in Taken by Tuesday is absolutely steamy.   The fact that the sparks have been bubbling between Judy and Rick for almost a year and that they had stayed away from each other, due to circumstances, made the sparks when they were finally in the same city so much hotter and brighter.   I loved how strong Judy was when faced with being attacked, she took an active role in keeping herself safe and in finding the person who attacked her.   She also knew when to argue with Rick and when to step back and let him do what he was trained to do, protect her.   Even when Rick was in protective mode you could feel the heat and attraction.

I have read this entire series and loved each and every one of them.    I recommend reading them in order, but each can be a standalone book.   Catherine Bybee is an author that has never let me down.  I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

I am a huge fan who has loved every one of the books in the Week

I am a huge fan who has loved every one of the books in the Weekday Brides series by Catherine Bybee and I have been eagerly awaiting Rick and Judy’s story, TAKEN BY TUESDAY.  Just the hint of them together in Single by Saturday was enough to know they were going to be great together.  Taken by Tuesday can be read as a stand-alone, but I highly recommend you treat yourself to the first four books in the series with an easy promise you will be glad you did.  For those of you who are devoted fans like me, yes, it does at least reference all of the main characters from the previous four books.

Rick and Judy met when Judy’s sister-in-law, Karen came to visit the family in their home town for the first time.  They had some serious mutual chemistry, but Judy does not want to be like every other small town girl.  She’s in her last year away at college and a dead set on pursuing a career in architecture without allowing for anything or anyone to sideline her goals.  Not even the oh-so-sexy, Rick and his irresistible dimples. Rick on the other hand, is hooked on the beautiful girl with the silky blond curls who can kick butt at pool.  He can’t get Judy off his mind and is just biding his time until she is finished with her last year of school.

After graduation Judy is offered an internship in Los Angeles so her and her best friend, Meg, decide to move to California where they stay at Judy’s famous Hollywood movie star brother, Mike’s home while he is away working on location.  Rick and the security firm he works for just happen to be in Los Angeles too, but Judy is still determined to do her best to keep him at arm’s length until the unexpected happens and she realizes having Rick around is the only thing that makes her feel safe.

Rick Evans, a former Marine is a big, gorgeous, alpha male who always has a smile on his face. He works with Neil and he handles all of Mike’s security for him at his house and when he’s in town. Rick refused to give up on Judy, is patient and instead of pushing he finds ways to be near her. He even enlists help from her friend, Meg, on Judy’s favorite things so he can impress her. VERY romantic! When Judy was in danger, I loved how he cares about Judy and insists he is the only one who can keep her safe, refusing to leave her side.  Bottom line, the man is a hot, protective, funny, and unwavering in his determination Judy is the woman he plans to make his for a lifetime.  Yum!

Catherine Bybee  always pulls me in with the promise of sexy and romantic love story and then completely enthralls me with a plot filled with danger, passion,  intrigue, and at least one lunatic trying to kill someone off!  Taken by Tuesday is no different.  It quickly turns into a fast- paced blend of romance and suspense that I found difficult to put down.  Didn’t in fact, put it down until I had reached the end.  I had to know that my girl was safe, or that is, that Rick’s girl was safe and in his arms where she belongs.  4 stars

Judy and Rick met when Judy’s brother and sister in law were in trouble a while back. And they had major

chemistry but Judy went back to College and was pursuing a career in architecture. But she could never get

Rick out of her head. Right before graduation Rick found her but she is scared of her attraction to him. She

dosn’t want to be like every other girl from her home town. Go to college then find a man, get married and

have kids and never pursue a career. She’s afraid that what she feels for him will put her in that category.

But during her internship she is attacked. When this happens she realizes how stupid her reasoning for

keeping him at arms length is.

Once Rick first seen Judy he could not get her out of his mind. He even almost went to a wrong college to

look for her thanks to Karen. Once she moves into her brothers house and she can’t run and hide from him

he is relentless when it comes to trying to get her to go on a date with him. When she is attacked he is

determined to find her attacker no matter what.

But when all fingers start to point to Rick and the cops stop looking for the real attacker Judy may have to

marry Rick for reasons other than love but when all is said and done Judy will have to figure out if that is true or

if she really does love Rick.

My Opinion: ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! This was maybe one of my favorites of this series. I was looking

forward to Rick and Judy’s story once their chemistry was brought to attention in the last book and I was not

disappointed! The was a great story. Very well written and greatly thought up idea. Catherine has a great

way of taking a very popular concept and making it her own and writing a book that draws you in hook, line

and sinker and you just can’t put the book down. I know I could not put any of the books in this series down

once I started reading them, this one included. I’m hoping that the next story will be either Mike or Meg’s. I

can’t wait to see what Catherine comes up with for those two! This book is the fifth in the series but can be

read as a stand alone although I do suggest reading the whole series and it is such an AMAZING series! I

    definitely recommend reading!

I received an ARC from the author, via Facebook, in exchange for an honest review.

I've read the 4 previous books in The Weekday Bride Series, and wondered if the author could continue to write 5 star stories for the series. I didn't need to wonder. I've always said I didn't have a favorite in the series, but I must say this book has changed that ... I loved, loved, loved, this book and it is now my favorite in the series.

I like a heartwarming love story with a happy ending, and this book didn't just warm my heart, it melted it. I laughed, I cried, and I was on the edge of my seat at times. This book was a great mixture of love and suspense. The suspense was very well written, I felt like I was right there, with my heart pounding, while reading it. There was some serious chemistry going on between Rick and Judy that started in the previous book, Single by Saturday. I loved their sense of humor, and their flirting with each other. I loved how protective Rick was of Judy. I know I'm using the word "love" a lot, but that is because I LOVED everything about this book. I also enjoyed reconnecting with characters from the previous stories to see what is going on in their lives.

I highly recommend this book. Please read the other 4 in the series first because you will get to know all the characters in the series. They are all 5 STAR stories. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Catherine Bybee knows how to write a good story. I love this series. All of them can be read as standalone, but for this one to really get how Rick and Judy have a deep connection and depth of their characters I recommend at least reading Fiance by Friday and Single by Saturday first. However, really reading the whole series is even better. ;)

Rick is a ex marine who is loyal to a fault but is always smiling. Judy is sisters to Hollywood's royalty but sweet to the core. During Single by Saturday they team up to help Karen (Judy's Sister in law) but what they didn't expect was for that chemistry to not be forgotten.

It has been a year since Rick saw Judy but he did NOT forget her. As Judy graduates and moves to L.A. Rick finally tries to win Judy's heart. Judy knows that Rick will be her kryptonite to her heart, so she tries to push him away so she can focus on her future and career, but Rick wants more so he bulldozes his way in there. Once Rick gets the break he needs to win over Judy tragedy hits and causes him to almost lose her.

This group of people just can't stay out of danger. As Judy's life is in danger so is her heart. The only way to protect Rick during this drama is to marry him but is it only temporary????

Rick may marry her on paper but for him he is all in, now he just has to convince Judy while keeping her alive.

As with all the books in this series, it is jammed pack full of love, family, friendship, loyalty and suspense. I adored Judy and Rick together and let me tell you Rick can smile at me anytime. Great book, Great Series!!

This is the latest installment in the Weekday bride series and like the previous four books it's a total hit. I love Judy and Rick's story. It has the perfect mix of romance with huge splashes of suspense. I like how the author shows us the progression of their relationship. Judy doesn't give into the attraction really easily and makes Rick work for it. The banter Rick and Judy have is hilarious. Then when the attack happens it catches everyone off guard and it pulls you even farther into the book. I like the face that the author brought previous characters into this book, she basically keeps you up to date in all things with the previous couples. Each book in this series is great and if she continues to write them they will continue to be great

    LOVED this story!!

Reviewed for Read Your Writes Book Reviews
    by Kim

I haven’t read a Catherine Bybee book since Wife by Wednesday came out over three years ago. I have to admit, I was a little worried to read Taken by Tuesday since it's the fifth book in the series, but it's pretty much a standalone read. Events from previous books are mentioned, but for the most part, things are explained. If you've read the other books, then you will be happy to know that the previous characters make appearances.

Rick Evans is a former Marine who now works in private security. He generally spends most of his time being the personal bodyguard of Hollywood star, Michael Wolfe. When he's not watching Michael's back, he's watching the back of those in Michael's family/friend circle.

Judy Gardner is one of Michael's younger sisters. She has just graduated from the University of Washington. Judy and her best friend and college roommate Meg move to LA, where Judy has a six month internship with Benson & Miller Designs, an architectural firm. The two plan to stay at Michael's house while he's out of town.

There's no secret there is an attraction between Judy and Rick. Everyone who sees them together can see it. Taken by Tuesday is one of those love stories for the ages. I liked this couple immediately. They have this wonderful, playful, teasing banter between them. And of course, their attraction is unbelieveable.

For probably a year, these two have skirted around their attraction for each other. Every time Rick asks her out Judy says no. Not because she doesn’t want to go out with him, but because she knows he is "it" for her. Meaning she is afraid that being with him could seal her fate into forfeiting her dream of being an architect and straight into being a PTA mom.

When Judy draws the unwanted attention of a stalker and is ultimately attacked, Rick makes it his life's mission to find the person responsible. What transpires from that point on shows what these characters are truly made of. It also is the catalyst Judy needs to realize that it’s time for her to act on her feelings for Rick.

With characters you can’t help but fall in love with, Taken by Tuesday delivers on a friendship turned into a romantic relationship that becomes drool worthy. Judy is funny, smart, has a strong inner-strength, and amazing conviction. Rick is easy-going and laid back, but has the ability to become serious when the time calls for it. He’s protective and loves Judy like a man worthy of her love should. Simply put, these two complete each other.
