    Pleasure to Read

OOOH, I've discovered a new writer. The characters were dynamic, the story was origianl, and the book was action-packed. The sex scenes were super yummy, so if you like it light, then keep it moving cause this book is hotter than hot!

    Excellent Read!

I just finished this entire series, 1-6. I couldn't put them down. After reading all the Twilight and Sookie Stackhouse books, I wanted more Vampire, werewolf, demon books and I came across this series. I loved everything about these books. The guys are HOT, HOT, HOT!!! The love scenes are very, very erotic! I never thought I would enjoy Demon books, but now that is all I am looking to read! I would most definitely recommend this book and the entire series.

    FANTASTIC SERIES!!!

I am writing this review about the Demonica Series as a whole (at least the series so far, which at this point consists of Books 1 - 4).

I have read many books with great characters and great plot lines. I have occasionally found books with really well-written, very hot sex scenes in them ... and I'm not talking "Harlequin-Romance" kind of sex scenes either. (There's only so many times I can deal with reading the phrase "his turgid manhood".) Before I started this series, I could count the times on one hand that I have been lucky enough to find a book that combines great storyline and cool characters with awesomely hot sex scenes. These scenes are REALLY well-written, and use language and terminology that is neither crude, nor overly flowery and silly. I have never once rolled my eyes at the phrasing the author used to describe the action. (Though I HAVE been really turned on by it!!) If you're like me ... and would love to read a story that's kind of like "Anne Rice meets Penthouse Forum", you should definitely grab these books!!!

    Good Demon Switch-up!

The Demonica series is a nice twist from the usual vampire/werewolf fare. Not that I have anything against that; I LOVE vampires and werewolves! But this was a refreshing change. The series begins in a hospital for demons called UGH (Underworld General Hospital). Eidolon, an Incubi demon, is chief of staff, and Tayla is a demon-slayer who comes in seriously injured from, you guessed it, fighting demons. Interesting mix, but somehow, throughout the trials, tribulations, and drama (MUCH drama!) in this book, the 2 of them make their relationship work. I thoroughly enjoyed Pleasure Unbound, and am preparing to read the very next one in the series, Desire Unchained.

    Damn good five star smut

The Demonica series revolves around the "Demonica" which is basically the demon/fallen angel version of the Bible. There are two sides to every story and as humans can choose to be either good or evil, demons also have a choice. This series revolves around a family of Seminus, or incubus demons who run Underground General Hospital (yes, UGH) to provide medical care for demons. Naturally the incubi require sex to survive but despite the frequent steaming hot sex scenes, Ione still manages to weave a compelling story that doesn't feel tacked on like most typical romance fluff.

I enjoyed Pleasure Unbound so much, I was a little disappointed that Eidolon was not the prominent character in the subsequent novels. That was before I found out Ione could make his brothers equally as addictive! Owe it to Ione's impressive imagination, writing talent and charming characters to create another world with so much detail you feel like it exists and makes you wonder if all this stuff is actually going on in the world today. I mean if there can be angels who can become fallen, why not demons who strive to do good and help keep the balance between Heaven, Earth, and Hell?

I highly recommend this novel be read before reading the rest in the series because each installment builds upon the characters and story lines from previous installments. There are a lot of references and inside jokes that you won't appreciate unless you read all of them. And believe me, the jokes are worth it if you love sarcastic or tongue-in-cheek humor. I just finished the 4th book and am eagerly awaiting the release of the 5th (in 2 days!! argh). Definitely not cliche trashy romance novels that suck - at least not in the figurative sense since some of the characters are vamps.

This paranormal romance series is a definite read. This book has some twists within the twisted plot. The series is a great read and should definitely be read in order....This Demonica series goes as follows (in order); Pleasure Unbound, Desire Unchained, Passion Unleashed, Ecstasy Unveiled and Sin Undone. Enjoy reading, I know I did.

    NEW and Deadly ADDICTIVE!

This book not only keeps you so wrapped up in the story and chartacters but it stops you from putting it down. IT's new intersting ideas and plots with a new world (or should I say underworld). I'm usually not into demon reading but I like the story plot and ideas, and that after only a few pages in. I just couldn't put it down!!! Not only is it addicting to just love the characters but the dash of medical story line is gripping. I have a new love of *good* demons with a short temper. Just like with humans, there are good demons and bad ones. Strong and mind blowing heros with huge drawbacks! Gotta LOVE them. These brothers are awesome and compelling to just keep turning the page well into the late night. I read this book in six hours straight! I couldn't put it down, then went out and bought the other two...LOVE this series. Plus, being in the medical field, I totally could believe the hospital's workers. (shall we say). SExy, smart and VERY creative with blood rushing love scenes. Great writing..can't wait for the last book! Word of advice, if you like action, vamps or dark paranormal then keep an open minded reading with ice water to drink to keep the flames down while reading! hehe

    Intense Series...Definite Read!!!!!!

This whole series is absolutely wonderful! A must read to get lost in!!! There is passion, deciet, desire, strong family bonds, and so much more. These are very intense books both sexually and language wise (which I personally feel strengthened these story lines). Larissa Ione is an author I will definitely continue to follow because of these books! Other series I also liked were Karen Marie Moning's Highlander and Fever series, Rachel Vincent's Shifters series, Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy and Dark Swan series (even though the ending could have been so much better), and definetly Lara Adrain's Midnight Breed series (very intense as well)!!!

    I ENJOYED THIS ONE.

Although it was a little difficult to absorb all the different demons and creatures and their special abilities in this book , I still really enjoyed it. It took a while before Tayla realized she loved Eidolon, but it did happen. It was a good love story and I would recommend it to paranormal romance lovers. I look forward to reading Larissa's other book in this series. Some others you might like are J. R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood Series and Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter Series, as well as two books by Nicky Charles "The Mating" and "The Keeping". Angela Knight's "Jane's Warlord" was really hot too.

    Amazing Read!

I picked this book up at random and am so glad I did. The plot is kinda predictable for a romance novel. Tayla is working for a human, warrior society that hunts demons. Eidolon is a demon doctor who saves the lives of other demons. Tayla ends up at his demon hospital. Tayla is supposed to get close to him to gather intel to bring down the demons but Eidolon and Tayla end up falling in love. The heroine is feisty and hero touching and hot. There are some extremely steamy scenes which make you want to take a cold shower after reading them!!!! Definitely recommend to those who love the paranormal romance genre!

    Not What I Expected

So I am a heavy Vampire book reader, and I was recommended this book. I'm not into demons, and in the first few pages, realized this book was not necessarily a vampire book. One of the brothers is a vampire. I almost gave it up...SO GLAD I DIDN'T! Wow, it has the same feel. It has great romance of the explicit rating! So if you want something alittle different, have a open mind, and would like some steamy, hot and erotic romance with a great character plot, then pick up this series!

    Ugh...

I love me some romance. Who doesent? But to have a sex scene in the 2nd chapter of the book? With hardly any story to it? Not what im looking for in a paranormal romance series. At least have some story to it. I dont know how people can read books like this and say this a great paranormal romance read when all there is is the destined-for-eachother bull and sex in the first few pages. This book was a HUGE disappointment. Read my recommendations. Now THOSE are books worth spending your time and money on! Especially the Black Dagger Brotherhood Novels.

    Pleasure unbound

When I heard of Pleasure Unbound, I was looking forward on reading it. But the first part of the book was a glossary of all the fancy unpronounceable words that I know for sure that I will have to get used to. I am not a fan of that part. Turns out I don't really have to go back and see what it means so I was glad.

The world of Eidolon slash Dr. Demon slash Hellboy is interesting and atypical. For exmple, for them their God is Satan, whatever belief we have is reverse for them. He is also an Incubus by the way and he is a Doctor at Underworld General Hospotal that caters for Demons and other netherwolrdly creatures who got injured during hunting or during an encounter with the Aegis (humans that protect humans from demons and other hell spawn). He is fictional book boyfriend material. Dark hair, sensous lips, glorious bod, possesive, great lover... ok you get the point. Sadly for us, he does not exist and he belongs to Tayla Mancuso, an Aegi (enemy) who arrived at his hospital fatally injured after her battle with a Creuntus. Really Doc Demon should have killed her but after treating her wounds and examining her anatomy both literally and carnally, he couldn't and he woounld not let his brothers and his co-workers do it. Why? well turns out she's a half demon and he have the hots for her is it only the S'genesis (maturation cycle at 100 yrs.) talking or is it more than that?

Tayla Mancuso is a Demon Slayer, she hates them with passion, her mother got killed by one and the Aegis told her all the things that they are doing to make humankind life a living hell. Or so she thought. One fateful night of hunting injury and death of her partner lead her to Eidolon, who saved her life and showed her so many things and characteristic that are very undemon like. She wanted to hate him and kill him but a coonection they share wouldn't let her do it. To make matters worst she found out that she is half demon, the Aegis - the family that she thought she have is now trying to kill her.

I like it how Ione played the good vs. bad in this book. This is my first of her books and I'm so glad that I like it. Smoking hot sex scenes, Imaginative world, well developed mian characters, awesome plot. What more could you ask for? If you are looking for a new Erotica with lots of hot demons and crazy villains this book is for you.

Larissa Ione has a wonderful series going here. Pleasure Unbound starts the amazing journey and it could not have been better! The characters are so complex and emotional, you feel like you are there with them. The story has a great plot and keeps you guessing from one minute to the next. It has lots of great twists and turns, which lead you into the second book of the series. I recommend the entire series, it's worth it!!

    Pleasure Unbound

What happens when you fall in love with the thing you hate the most?
Tayla Mansusco is a demon slayer who well on a mission ironically lands in a demon hospital where she finds Eidolon,a semius demon. Eidolon treats her against the objection of his brothers knowing that she might be behind the underground selling of demon organs. As he heals her wounds he discovers a shocking truth Tayla is not only human but her internal orgnas are that of demons and time is not on her side. The demon in her is taking over her human side and the only way to survive is to combine her demon side with her human and become that which she hates the most or die. Eidolon is struggling with his own inner demon as the s'genesis prosses is almost at his end. He must find a mate or be overcome by his uncontrollable sexual demon insticts. On top of that he hast to discover who is behind all the mutilation of demons and makes it a priority to point Tayla who is unaware of being a demon let alone the out come of not intergrating both her sides together. Talya is unwilling to accept any help from the man who saved her life but also not able to kill what she has killed all her life. They both sturggle with the idea of loosing eachother but neither lets their guard down since they are natural enemys. This is a romance novel full with lust, passion and action. You are automatically hooked from page one and it keeps you wanting to read more and more as you discover the bond between these two lovers. There are many other characters and bonds that will do the same. This book will reel you in and hold you to its pages. I absolutly enjoyed meeting all of the characters and would not change a thing about it.
