Overview

The Billionaire Boys Club is a secret society of six men who have vowed success – at any cost. Not all of them are old money, but all of them are incredibly wealthy. They’re just not always as successful when it comes to love…

Billionaire Logan Hawkings needs a vacation.

He’s had a rough time after the death of his father and the betrayal of his fiancée. But with a visit to a recent business acquisition—a private island resort in the Bahamas—he has a chance to mend his broken heart.

When a hurricane blows in, a misplaced passport and a stalled elevator bring Logan together with an unusual woman named Bronte. She’s unlike anyone he’s ever met—down to earth, incredibly sensual, and even quotes Plato.

She also has no clue that he’s rich…

Bronte Dawson, a waitress from the Midwest, is stranded with the hotel’s domineering yet sexy manager Logan. What’s the harm in a little fling when it’s just the two of them, alone in paradise? But after several steamy island nights in Logan’s arms, Bronte’s ready to give her heart—and her body—to the man in charge.

But she soon discovers there’s more to Logan than he’s told her…a billion times more. Now, Bronte’s caught in a whirlwind affair with one of the world’s most powerful men. But can their love endure their differences or will it all just blow over?

Love. Sex. Money. Want more? Look out for the next steamy title in the Billionaire Boys Club series from Jessica Clare, coming from InterMix.

Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
When she wins a trip to the Bahamas, philosophy major and Kansas City waitress Bronte doesn’t imagine that she would spend her vacation inside while awaiting a hurricane. To make matters worse, she becomes stranded in an elevator with the resort’s manager, Logan Hawkings. After escaping, they discover that everyone else has evacuated and they will need to fend for themselves until rescue arrives. Logan is extremely handsome and a tender lover and protector. When help finally shows up, Bronte learns that Logan isn’t some working-class employee but the owner of the resort—and a billionaire. His past has taught him that women are only after one thing. He puts Bronte to the ultimate test to determine if she is trustworthy, but that seemingly harmless exercise could destroy everything.

Verdict Clare’s (Jill Myles and Jessica Sims) latest contemporary (The Girl’s Guide to [Man]Hunting) is gratifying for its likable but flawed hero and heroine, sexy love scenes, and philosophical quotes Bronte perfectly articulates at the right moments. The next series offering is Beauty and the Billionaire, coming in July.—Kara Kohn, Plainfield P.L., IL

Really good. It's sexy and the good characters add to that. Not too typical of a "rich hot guy book." I'll read the second.

    Great

Really liked this book. It started out like your typical billionaire romance but got better and better thanks to a good heroine. The two main characters balanced each other out well and made for quite an even couple. This is the first book in a series detailing the lifes of each member of a secret billionaire society. Can't wait to read the next.

    Good read

So i hate the title because i have tired of the whole rich guy, poor girl story line, but this was actually a great story and worth the read. I am actually looking forward to the next story.

    eh!

Bought the book since it was highly rated but regretted it right away. The idea was good but found my self skipping pages a LOT just to keep myself into the story since it became a bit of a drag. It was nice that the heroine was a lot tougher than most books but everything else was too predictable that the only reason you want to keep reading is to just get it over with.

    Loved the story...edits need help

I'm new to ebook romances so even though I loved the story and characters, I'm thrown off by bad editing--not typos per se but wrong words in the sentences. Hopefully the next books will be better read before releasing.

“I love Jessica Clare’s work, and I will read what she writes any day.” ~ Under The Covers Book Blog

Stranded with a Billionaire the first installment of The Billionaire Boys Club and it is exactly as what the title says; it is a love story that started while the couple was stranded on an island. The hero is a sexy billionaire, the heroine is an independent young woman, and their love story was one awesome read. I love Jessica Clare’s work, and I will read what she writes any day.

Logan Hawkins is as typical as any billionaire you will read about. He is sexy, arrogant, rich and you know he will fall deeply in love with a heroine when he least expects it. But what he does in the process had me LOL and sigh from his sweetness. He would buy anything or anyone to get what he wants but what he doesn’t know is simply how to love without needing to pay for anything. But Bronte Dawson, waitress extraordinaire, will show him how it’s done. Bronte is as simple as you can get. This girl has dreams but is simply satisfied with what she has and she knows how to work hard. But after winning a vacation trip and ending up stranded on an island with a sexy man, she will learn how to take advantage of what faith has presented to her. Of course, until they are rescued and reality hits her like a freight train. Bronte is super funny and totally down to earth gal and I just love that she has the heavy “plato-isms” and she is comfortable with who she is. It just made her stand out in Logan’s eyes and his pals. I thought she handled herself and Logan well steering her love life to the right path.

Overall, Stranded with a Billionaire is a terrific start to this series. Several aspects of this book were predictable, but its predictability did not deter me from fully loving this book. The premise of sexy billionaires in this private club helping each other to success is particularly intriguing. What catches me the most is that I know these untouchables will soon be captured and brought down by a woman and their love for her. That my friends will always be a delightful read for me.

More then I thought it would be

This book was better then I thought it would be with all the 50 shades copy covers etc I wasn't too sure about this but it seemed to have something different when I read the blurb that made me give it a try. Well I enjoyed the book from start to finish. How they met was very believable and then the challenges they faced as a couple were realistic. I liked both the characters in addition to the supporting ones. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the stories. In case I didn't say it I also enjoyed the fact that the story ended and didn't leave me hanging, did I day I'm getting tired of these serial stories or these books that are published in 3 volumes that could have been done in 1 if they had and editor? I have recommended this book to others while I was reading it and after I finished. Well done:)

    Recommend.

So good! Love this series. Feel good romance! This is book one, but I read the second, BEAUTY AND THE BILLIONAIRE already. Loved it too! Third book comes out in Oct., can't wait! Some series can drag, because the author is trying to update the reader on future/past characters. Not in this case, the author does a great job, flowing quickly through the story. I definitely recommend this book.

    Good

    ## I enjoyed this book. It wasn't the best I've read but not the worst. I didn't like the hero all that much, but that seems to be the trend these days. Arrogant billionaire wants poor girl at any cost, even buying the diner where she works. Takes her to his mansion, buys her outrageous gifts, makes her over, meets the friends and the obligatory ex.....But what made this one different is that this heroine had the b*lls to leave him. I like strong heroines. The whole secret club thing was a tad bizarre and the story could've been about 50 pages shorter, but all in all pretty good. Good enough that I'll be buying Hunter's story in July.

I really liked this book primarily because the heroine was strong without being crass. Looking forward to Hunters story. It promises to be different because he is not your typical perfect handsome hero.

Finally! A love story worth reading!

Sexy billionaire falls for waitress who is scared of his money. I felt so sorry for Logan as he struggled with how to gain her trust and love. Thank you for writing a book that has a real and beautiful ending. I am so tired of reading a book and find out I must read another one to find out what happens. BUT I love a series and cannot wait to read about Hunter in the next book.
