Overview

In the world of Harmony, Rainshadow Island is home to a mysterious preserve, secrets that have been kept for centuries, and a treasure worth killing for…

As a light-talent, Alice North has the rare ability to make things disappear, including herself—a gift that comes in handy during her magic act with her dust bunny Houdini.

Business mogul Drake Sebastian is day-blind, since his sight was nearly destroyed in a lab accident. But he’s the one man who can see Alice when she disappears—and he needs her.

On Rainshadow Island, two dangerous Old World crystals are missing, igniting a paranormal storm. Drake thinks Alice is the key to finding them, and proposes they head there, but only after a Marriage of Convenience.

Alice’s honeymoon on Rainshadow is guaranteed to be memorable, as the island—and the passion between her and Drake—is about to explode…

    Great Read

I am a great fan of Jayne Ann Krentz under any of her pen names and Jayne Castle is one of my favorites. Her stories are always well done with characters you'd like to meet and spend time with. Deception Cove is part of a series that started with the Looking Glass Trilogy (Krentz, Quick, & Castle) and continues to delve into the mysteries of Rainshadow Islands and its residents. I read the book as soon as it arrived and can't wait for the next installment.

Ok! Well, first- supplies: - time to kill - patience - basic knolwedge of the internet and databases* - windows 8 with NO FILES* - your nook - ic-4 pro* - the fact that your nook might stop working/ flash or restart* - a codename - wacom bamboo tablet for backup* - nook cord - cancel ALL DATA that will make you easier to track *
    - snacks.(you get hungry) - indoor extension cord* - abullo plus* - sleep. - nook #( flap on the side) - exellent wifi connection
All of the items here are hard to find. You also need some sort of experience, because you can be tracd doen by b&n, which is not good. I need to look up on most of the steps, because i had my brother help me on most parts. Ask any questions *- cant find them anymore or hard to find or just expensive.

I admit that I am very prejudiced in favor of any book Castle writes that include dust bunnies. They are just too cool.
That said, this is an intriguing story. Who is Drake really? What is the story behind his lab accident? Why does he insist on a Marriage of Convenience? (His family always marries forever, not just for the moment)
Alice does not have a good record for honeymoons on Rainshadow island.
    A really good read.
I look forward to more Rainshadow adventures-as long as there are dust bunnies included.

"I've killed cats, before. Medicine cats, any cat that bothered trying to get me out." He shrugged, licking his bloodstained claws.

    e-printing quality

I am enjoying this story, true Jayne Castle Style. That said, i am having a terrible time with the e-book quality. Pages are either not in order, or there is a bug that makes them regress. this morning I was on page 191, and I turned to advance a page, and ended up on page 189. Repeated turnings would not advance off of page 188, I finally had to choose "go to page" and type in the correct number. It then regressed and I had to do the same for 193. This has happened numerous times on this book.
