While Josephine was trotting the globe, retired boxer Jake Spear was living in the same small town as Lydia. There was nothing disguised about Jake. Including the fact he made a habit of making very bad decisions about who to give his love.
But for Josephine and Jake, there was one person who adored them. One person who knew how to lead them to happiness. And one person who was intent on doing it.
Even if she had to do it as her final wish on this earth.

No need to buy the book thanks to the two plot spoilers who revealed all in their over the top review then bragged how they got their book for free. It is so rude of you to reveal the entire book, other readers might like to read the book and not know what happens in advance. Please, next time have some consideration of other people before you destroy the book.

I don't write reviews often but this is a great book. It's my 2nd favorite of hers after Motorcycle Man and I have read that book about 4 times. This will be worth reading again! Love these characters so much and really like the family dynamic and that its about someone who is in her 40's. Most romance authors focus on younger people and I like that as I am in my 40's I can identify with the characters so much more.

Kristen Ashley is one of my top 10 favorite authors and I am so excited when a new KA book is released. The Will is a wonderful book that will be on my re-read list!

I don't know what it is about Kristen Ashley's writing that pulls me in, but she's done it again. This was a sweet, wonderful story with great characters, romance and lots of humor. I recommend all of her books to anyone who enjoys a good read!

I love all books Kristen Ashley, but this one is my favorite. From Josie's elegance to Jake's bad assery, a great read.

452pgs total. I was glad the sample was 50pgs because it took my that long to get through the rambling background info to see bits to lure me into the tale. I am a KA fan, so was slightly disapponted in this book. There were parts I skipped because I felt they were unnecessary ramblings and some words and phrases were used more than I cared for...and got on my nerves. The overall story was interesting, but it moved slow for me. It did have its moments and I enjoyed Jake and Conner's characters. For now, I'll continue to enjoy my re-reads of the Rock Chick, Dream Man and Colorado Mtn series.

I don't have plot spoilers nor am I going to write a literary critique of the book. The book was good, touching, funny and worth the read. I love stories where people aren't perfect and they grow and learn through the story. This book is a great example of that type of journey in my humble opinion.

This book was on par with violet and joe, ty and lexie, knight and anya. I dont know what happened with Jagged but she is back. It was sad humorous sweet and like always you want that ty, joe, knight, chace, mike, colt. You just want them all. Loved it. Love this style and hope you continue to write in this particular way.

LOVED this book! I am a relative late-comer to Kristen's books but have now had the pleasure of being able to read almost all of them and this book ranks right at the top. The characters are all so well developed you feel as if they are (or wish they were) your neighbors. I NEVER feel short-changed with one of Kristen's books - she takes the time and the pages to ensure she delivers a complete, compelling story which is sadly rare these days. I most enjoy how Kristen writes with humor and compassion about quirky, damaged souls who find one another and the healing power of love. I always feel better after finishing one of her books then before I picked it up and to me, that's a strong testament to the power of her writing. Truly enjoyed all the characters and hope that the next two books are about Mickey and Coert (not sure how that's pronounced...."Court"?). The epilogue was wonderful as were the intimate details provided through Josie's letters and the letters/tape from Lydie. Excellent. If you haven't read this yet, get it today and be prepared not be able to put it down until you finish!

The epilogue in this book is great, my favorite part of the whole book .
Kristen really has a gift. Her books are written in her own unique style that you either adore or hate. I adore.
Cannot wait to read more in this series. Loved Rock Chicks but I think theses stories are going to be more realistic for the reader. I mean does a Lee or Luke really exist out there?

Unfortunately, the plot in this book is very similar to the other two books in this series. Once was enough. Beating the same "inexperienced girl falls for macho man" gets really old fast. Be prepared to skim over the last 50 pages.

Finally... a romance novel with leads who are in their 40's, not their 20's. What a relief to realize I'm not old enough to be the mother of the protagonist for a change. Love Kristen as always. Enjoyed the reminder that what we seek may not be what we need.

I have read all of Kristen Ashley's books and this one is by far, my favorite. So heartwarming and full of love, but it still has that perfect alpha male that only Kristen Ashley can create. This will definitely be one that I read many times over.

I always enjoy Kristen Ashley's work, but this particular story made me laugh and cry. It was real and gave me hope. It wasn't sappy or overdone. It had just the right amount of sex appeal. I fell in love with all of the characters. This one will stick with me awhile.
