I bought this on a whim a few months before I was set to go to Disneyland. I have never regretted it! It's filled with fascinating facts and I still remember many of them years later! I tell everyone who's going to Disneyland about this book. Even if you aren't planning a vacation this book is filled with conversation starting facts about the Happiest Place on Earth! Many things I learned my friend who works at Disneyland didn't even know!
Now I'm looking for other books in this series for my next vacation!

    Read this Book!

I did not know what to expect when I bought this book, I assumed it would be informative, which it was, but I did not expect it to be so entertaining, interesting and filled with tidbits that I did not know. After all these years you would think you know all there is to know about Disney, but this little book proves you wrong.

I can't wait to read all the other books by Mr. Hoffman. This is a real hidden little gem that was a real find!

    Good for enjoyment

I read this book in an hour. Once I get a place of my own, this will definitely be a coffee table book. It's great to just browse through and learn things you never would have thought about when going to Disneyland.

    Secrets revealed

Little known facts about Disneyland is more than just trivia. The easy-to-read book offers tidbits about Walt Disney's motivations as well as some fascinating behind-the-scenes glimpses. Perhaps you wondered why mermaids were removed from the submarine lagoon, or which side of the Matterhorn ride goes faster. You'll find that information here.

Written in the format of one piece of information per page, the book is one that can be picked up and put down at random, offering opportunities to fill those small pockets of time we all have.

When you don't have time to become immersed in a novel but still want to read something with substance, Little Known Facts fills the bill beautifully.

    Such fun we bought 4!

What a fun book for anyone who has been or will go to Disneyland. We bought two as Christmas gifts, then bought two more - one to keep and one for the guest bathroom! It's full of interesting facts about Disneyland from its conception to upkeep to why some things had to be changed. It would be great to give someone before their first visit, or after their 50th visit.

You thought you knew everything... you don't

I was at first reluctant to buy this book. Every book I've read about Disneyland I always say, 'tell me something I don't already know'. Luckily David Hoffman's book did have plenty of facts I've never known before. It's a quick one-day read and you can refer back to again and again and share info with fellow Disney enthusiasts.

    More Fun at Disneyland!

We learned so many neat Disneyland facts that we decided to go check out a few of them. Although we go to Disneyland on our annual passes and know the park very well, there is stuff in the book that you can't possibly know. I think this would be a great gift to someone who is planning a trip to Disneyland; goes frequently or is a Disneyana buff.

    Hilarious!

This book had a lot of tidbits about Disneyland that I never knew, especially about all the hidden cameras on the ride! Woo Hoo. When I think back to my teen years, I pray to g-d that they don't keep any of this stuff on tape. Who was to know that there were cameras???? I have passed this book around to all family members and even my grandchildren are now reading it and laughing in their rooms while reading. Of course, they can't wait to go back to Disneyland now. This would be a great gift book during the holidays with a Disney Pass.

    Great read!

It was a great read because I learned things that I didn't know before about Disney Land and now I know what to look for when I get there. I can't wait to see how it compares to Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

    I Also Recommend:

    Filled with Facts

Despite the fact that Magic Kingdom's Cinderella Castle in Walt Disney World is on the cover of this Disneyland Fact book, this has a lot of fun anecdotes and interesting things I never knew as a Disney Freak. Family of mine who aren't as big fans of the parks really enjoyed it as well.

    Great for Trivia Buffs!

This was a fun and informative read. I grew up near Disneyland and have many fond memories and many of the tidbits reminded me of things that I had forgotten. Any trivia lover would enjoy this as a gift.
