If you're planning a trip to Oahu, especially one over a week, please consider investing the few bucks for this book! It was invaluable to us! It tells you where to go, where not to go, and their opinions on activities, must sees, don't dos, you name it. The book is a priceless reference tool!

I was SO glad that I bought this book when planning my trip--it gave many 'insider' tips that were vitally helpful, and helped us determine what to do to maximize our enjoyment in the time we had. The book is so good that it was stolen off of our dinner table by another group of tourists in a restaurant, and we had to buy a replacement copy at the ABC store.

I actually bought 2 review books, but this was the one I used. The reviews provide good information but are not so long that you get bored with reading them. Lots of great information that really allowed us to make the most of our time and budget while in Hawaii.

Carried this book with us for our week in Oahu. Driving directions, restaurant hints, shopping, and evaluation of tourist stops were all totally on target. Decided one day to try a spot they called your typical tourist trap. They were right! Maps were terrific. They guided us through alternate streets as well as the major thoroughfares.

I just returned from Oahu yesterday and I am so glad that I purchased Oahu Revealed right before I left. Best guide book I've ever used. We used it more than I ever thought that we would. Excellent reading and we really loved the humor and certainly appreciated the honesty with reviews etc. It became known as the 'Bible.' I left the book up in the room and someone said (there was nine of us) what are you nuts go get that thing!! I had that book in my bag at all times and continued to use it on my final day. Someone would say - what does the book say? I can't even count how many times someone said that to me. When following suggestions, we found ourselves reading reviews before and after and agreeing. One example, the Ko Olina Cat - review on that was right on the money and we agreed - good crew, sucky snorkeling spot but we ate and drank good! Your description of the roads/highways - very funny and absolutely true!!! I think we would have been somewhat clueless and never have seen some of the things that we did. It is a wonderful guide book and I strong recommend it to anyone that may be visiting!

Our family found this book indispensible. We called it 'The Big Book of Fun' and never went anywhere without it. The maps were fantastic, the commentaries were poignant and always humorous, and the advice was always on the mark. We also appreciated the website with weather and links for getting directions.
