In this day of all of our high-tech direction finding systems--I still enjoy and appreciate, the hard work, and
traditional styling of the "Rand McNally Road Atlas." There is something special about having an old friend in the car with me. And at my age, the large print editions comes in handy. Pick up an old friend today--and treat yourself.

The print is large enough for my eyes, the wire binding spine is good for laying it flat, but the pages are divided at crucial points in the road, making it darn-near impossible to see the route. This is the second one of this type we've bought and they both have had that flaw.

Detailed and much easier to read than standard road atlases. You probably won't get lost if you buy this. This isn't one of those atlases in which half the pages are dedicated to listing campgrounds, RV parks, etc. This is just a book of maps and nothing more.

I was highly disappointed that there was not a more detailed map of the Orlando area, which is a major tourist area. Also, the map of Florida was not easy to use because I couldn't see the entire state laid out in one picture. This was a very disappointing road atlas.

I love having this Atlas, for quick look ups. The fact that it folds flat is very handy, and the writing is not so small that I can read it easily. Paper maps are good for getting a perspective of what is around the area of travel, as opposed to the GPS devices. Good backup plan for GPS navigation.
