    Worth every cent!

Provides great overview of places/areas to visit. Includes up-to-date details on prices, times, and visiting quirks. Great maps to help you easily find your location. Good suggestions on day trips. This is so worth buying a new book for when you go since it pays for itself in just one tip. Was only disappointed in one restaurant recommendation in Cesky Krumlov. Be sure to use the inexpensive storage at Cesky Krumlov's info center to dump your bags while touring the town. Also, rip out and carry the pages you need for the applicable town to save on space and weight. Since RS updates his books, you can get another book next time you go to Prague!

    Highly Recommended!

I used Rick Steve's book, Krakow, 2 years ago and was very pleased with his reviews of the places in that book. The research he had done was accurate and we had no trouble following directions. We used the guide he suggested in the book to take us outside the city and we have her booked on our trip we are making back to Krakow and then continuing on to Prague with her for 9 days. His style of writing Prague is the same, straightforward and easy to follow. I am reading it now in preparation to our departure.
I am sure we will find the same information to be true of the restaurants, free sights, tours, people, places that are closed on certain days that we found in Krakow. I would carry no other travel book to Prague but Rick Steve's.

    Heritage

I wish I had this book because I did the Czech Republic for my heritage project and I would like to learn more about this country.
