Very informative-a must have if traveling to this region

This book was chock full of helpful information. We just got back from our Mediterranean Cruise and we consulted this book for each port. We were able to do several of Rick's self guided walking tours, which saved us money since we did not have to do a ship excursion for those ports. His information regarding land transportation was also helpful. It can also be used in conjunction with his free podcasts on itunes.

    Not For Nook

Nook and similar are cumbersome when you're flipping back and forth between chapters, maps etc. Also, maps suffer as too small and no colour (on my Nook). Book content is good.
