I find all of these Top 10 travel books to be very informative and concise travel companions that make mapping out a trip extremely easy. The information is presented in an easy to use format with excellent illustrations that make you want to go see the attractions they have selected. This book is also a great starting point to learn more about the area, in this case, Rome. I particularly wanted to know more about the layout of the ancient city, which due to the size of this book, is well beyond its scope. However, for most of my needs, this book gave me a more than adequate informational background on the tourist sites. It also served as a great starting point for places to stay and places to eat. I highly recommend this to anyone travelling to an area in which they have never been.
