Meet the Author

Alex Wright is a Show Designer for Walt Disney Imagineering in Orlando, Florida. His credits include concept and set design work for Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Journey into Imagination with Figment, as well as various enhancement projects all over the Walt Disney World Resort. Alex received a B.A. in Design Theory from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1992, and an M.F.A. in Scenic Design from the California Institute of the Arts near Los Angeles in 1994. He lives in Ocoee, FL with his wife Kim, son Finn, daughter Lincoln, and two dogs, RocketDog and Edison.

    Love all things Disney

    My Favorite place is the original park, Disneyland, so the detailed info here is really nice to browse. Like Walt said, Disneyland will never be finished, and it shows this is true when you think about all the changes the park has gone through. Walt Disney World is nice, but nothing compares to the original.
