    Summer In A Book!

    Evan Dawson, a gifted storyteller and knowledgeable oenophile, captures the personality of the Finger Lakes, its wines, and those who create it expertly in this celebration of a region. Not your typical wine book, Summer In A Glass is filled with the joys, sorrows, triumphs, failures, and persistence of the men and women who made central New York a contender in the wine culture. This one is impossible to put down. I am sure I will revisit it again and again, most likely on my back deck with a nice Riesling once spring returns to New York State.

    Highly, Highly Recommended

    I am not usually a non-fiction reader but I love wine and I live in the Fingerlakes so this was not only informative but made me wanting for more!!

    Wonderful book!

    I am not a wine lover but I have traveled to many of the wineries ( I go for the scenery!) discussed in this book and I found it to be a pleasant and fascinating read. Anyone who is interested in the wineries of the fingerlakes should be sure to read this book. You will gain a real appreciation for the artistry that goes into the wine making process as well as the development of the fingerlakes region.

    I did not care for it. The writing style is banal, and it is ful

    I did not care for it. The writing style is banal, and it is full of superficial platitudes. I also found it to be self absorbed. I was not expecting that and I felt it was such a distraction I had to put the book down and come back to it. I was glad just to be done with it.
