I bought an earlier version of this Gazetteer several years ago when I moved from a big city to very rural Tennessee. I used it then to put my new living location in perspective and to find out about my new environment. I still use it, especially when I travel to other parts of the state. It is very user-friendly and has very detailed topographical maps. Although it is not as detailed as an internet road map, it is much more useful to see the 'lay of the land'. I only wish UPS and FedEx had this gazetteer because they can't find me and even GPS cannot pinpoint my exact location! This one is a gift for a friend who is moving to Tennessee.
