I would NEVER drive from Michigan to Florida without taking Dave

I would NEVER drive from Michigan to Florida without taking Dave with me! I have not done the drive in about 10 years so I have not bought a copy since the 12th addition, but I tell everyone making the trip that they MUST get one. I would not get on the road without the most up to date version either. The updates for new hotels, gas stations etc. are invaluable. Oh, and another thing- it's remarkable how often police are sitting right where Dave says they will be. Thinking about it almost makes me want to get a new copy and hit the road- almost.

    A Great Gift!

I bought this as a gift for my parents and they are very happy with the book. They do a lot of driving and have already found this book to be very useful.

    Traveling I-75

If you are traveling a large amount of I-75 you need this book. The author has done a wonderful job (based ion a previous edition) that makes traveling I-75 interesting. He provides information on the sights, the dangers (lurking cops or bad intersections) and what is available at each exit. Again, this is a must-have if you travel I-75.

    road to florida

This a great resourse for the trip along Interstate 75 with lots of personal recommendations. Those we we tried were worth the stop. It is not a complete list of facilities however.

    Informational and fun travel guide

We used this guide for our trip from Michigan to Florida in 2003. We found it very helpful in locating places to dine, stop for gas, stretch our legs, etc. We also learned alot of interesting facts for the areas we were driving through, even made a few stops to check some spots out. We will again be making the trek down to Florida this year and we will be picking up the 2004 edition to accompany us!

    A Great Travel Companion

This is a great resource for first time or tenth time travelers to Florida. The book gives points of interest, historical information, and stories about the major cities. The maps are easy to read-lots of landmarks are written in, and just turn the book upside down for the trip back north. Best of all, dining suggestions are given for each exit along the way so you have time to plan what and when you're going to eat.
