The Eyewitness Travel books are the best. I have many of them in my collection. Besides travel tips and information, the books give you a lot about the history, culture, foods, and so many other interesting facts about the cities and countries. I use them for traveling but also just to enjoy reading them for interest. They have great maps, illustrations, photos and are created to really gain an understanding of the city or country. I have yet to travel to Russia but enjoyed the book immensely. This whole series is great for armchair traveling. It is a quality publication.
