I carried two guide books on my family's recent trip to Ireland - the old standby Frommer's and this, a virtually pocket-sized book. Although not nearly as comprehensive as Frommer's or the other bigger books, it was extremely handy, gave capsule reviews of the main sights in Dublin and vicinity, and contained two convenient and accurate fold-out maps of Dublin - one built into the front cover, and one removable map made of sturdy card stock. The "top 10" lists were easy quick references, if not in-depth, and the book also contains information on sites around the rest of Ireland, with a map of the whole country. At $14.00 US it seems a bit pricey, but it was well worth it for its convenience, its maps, and its compact size.
