This field guide is a great companion for any trip in the Rocky Mountain region. Useful for hike in the mountains, day trip or vacation. Photos and drawings very helpful for identifying anything you see from trees and wildflowers to birds and butterflies. Also has great information on amphibians, reptiles, snakes, fish and mammals, large and small. I have several field guides on birds and wildflowers, but this guide is so much more, and an easy size to take along. The night sky charts for each season are really helpful.
