A must have book to hike in the Olympics

This is my go-to book for the Olympic Peninsula. They have color maps of where the hike is located plus a cheat sheet in the front of the main draws of the hike (wildflowers, waterfalls, views etc) which is so helpful on top of in-depth information on the hike and tips for hiking in the area in the front! I definitely recommend this book if you are looking to explore the Olympics!

A handy hiking guide to the Olympic Peninsula, Kitsap Peninsula and some areas of Southwestern Washington.

I bought this book for hiking along the coastal beaches, but I've used it already for hikes along the Chehalis River Valley. The size is perfect for tucking in your backpack. The information is concise, but good, offering maps, clear directions for getting there, a brief history of the area, some photographs, and a description of the hike.
