Remember this is a one-way street!

The numbers at the left are the seedings of each of the playoff teams going into THAT round.
The higer seeded team has the home ice "advantage" (H) for the series.
The numbers after each team at each level are the games that they won.
After each round, the teams are re-seeded, hence the skewed Eastern bracket.

Series are usually played in a 2-2-1-1-1 format (thus games 1,2,5, and 7 are at the "home" team)
