Course Description |
|
The goal of this course is to explore some of the research frontiers of computer networking. Roughly speaking the course will be broadly broken into two areas:
Although this is an independent study course, we will have weekly class meetings so that we can discuss research papers. Through this course, we will read a number of technical research papers in class, discuss their merits/de-merits and possibly brainstorm for new ideas through this process. Students are strongly encouraged to work on a semester-long research project as part of this course.
