Carrie and her Zagi 400E

If you've read the Super Sportster page, you know how this started. Carrie
and I watched the powered planes; I think she found it more exciting than
the sailplanes. I certainly see the attraction.
One of the planes out there was the Zagi. Basically indestructable and was an interesting looking airplane. When Carrie called that night and had already been on the Zagi website, I knew that she was really interested. So, a late birthday present, I went and picked up a Zagi kit for Carrie. We built it that Sunday. She did most of the work. It was somewhat strange -- while Carrie was working on the plane, I was working on re-potting some of my plants.
So, Carrie finished the plane, decorated it up with Power Puff Girls stickers (really, it's not my plane!) and we took it flying. It's fast, but we just need to spend some time flying it. |
