We took a NPS ranger-guided hike in East Maui watershed's Waikamoi Preserve. The Waikamoi Preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy and Haleakala Ranch. We saw three native Hawaiian birds: The I'iwi, the 'Apapane, and the Hawaiian 'Amakihi.
