Sliding Sands Trail in Haleakala National Park. We parked the car at the Halemau'u trailhead (8000') and then hitchhiked to the top of Haleakala. We took the Sliding Sands Trail to the Halemau'u Trail. 12.2 miles in under 7 hours.
