!Arcview This package is commonly referred to as Arcview, although you will probably notice that subsequent versions of [ArcGIS] also have an installation named Arcview. No one can explain this properly, so don't worry about it. All the computers need the old version of ArcView, as well as a new verision of ArcGIS installed. The old version barely needs any Windows support and can actually be ran without even installing it (however, it does need a key code) ---- There is an update that should change any version of Arcview (3.1, 3.2 or 3.3) to 3.x which is preferable, but not wholly necessary as all the extensions run in any version. ---- Arcview has many extensions which are mostly on the disk called extensions. These all install in different ways and are too numerous to list. If possible try to avoid installing them since we don't know how to test them anyway. If professors or students need them for something, they will let us know. Try to remember the ones that were most used and write them down: *Animal Movements: was needed by a PA in the Nelson Institute (2006) *Spatial Analyst: was needed by Nancy Matthew's RAs (January 2007)
