Setting up environment for PVM

If you use the csh (or tcsh) shell:

edit your .cshrc.local file to add the following to the end
```
setenv XPVM_ROOT $PVM_ROOT/bin/$PVM_ARCH
```
Log out and log in again to incorporate the new variables into your environment.

Using xPVM

Just type
```
nova2$ xpvm &
```
at prompt and enjoy. You will love it. xPVM has the same functionality as a standard PVM console, so that you can configure you parallel machine, spawn tasks, and so on. But it has much more. Explore.
