This soft porn treatment of the legendary Nordic saga of Siegfried is very low budget and has no action or special effects to speak of and its main selling point are the frequent sex scenes and plethora of extremely beautiful actresses,including Sybil Danning,who more often than not are completely nude. Despite its drawbacks(it comes to a swift and sudden end as if the makers had run out of cash)THE LONG SWIFT SWORD OF SIEGFRIED does have an indefinable quality which defies its shortcomings and somehow does succeed in conjuring up an effective portrait of times long gone by in a land of mystique and mystery.Very weird and worth watching(even if only once)
