Trivia

This movie upon theatrical release was marketed with Roman Numerals to signify the number 2 i.e. 'Death Wish II'. In time, its modern DVD releases tend to show the number two of the title as a numerical digit instead. This is then consistent with the titles Death Wish 3 (1985) and Death Wish 4: The Crackdown (1987). According to the book 'Bronson's Loose' by Paul Talbot, the original working title of the next film 'Death Wish III' was changed to 'Death Wish 3' because the Cannon Group conducted a survey and found that nearly half of the U.S. population could not read Roman numerals. Interestingly, the fifth film, Death Wish V: The Face of Death (1994), reverted to the use of Roman Numerals to signify the film number See more »

Goofs

When Paul Kersey is at KABC radio, he is "informed" about the murder of the N.Y.C. cop in the shoot-out at Point Fermin. He was informed that five people were murdered, when in actuality, six people were murdered in the shoot-out. Those six people were the aforementioned Detective Ochoa, the blonde-haired lookout that Ochoa shoots out of a tree, the firearms dealer (old guy with suspenders and a pink shirt), the dealer's friend (wears a white cap, green shirt, and white under-shirt), Cutter, and Punkcut. Punks shouldn't enter Kersey's Matrix
26 March 2005 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Charles Bronson is back as Paul Kersey. After some punks (including a young Morpheus, Laurence Fishburne) get away with his wallet, they find his house. He's not home so they rape and kill the housekeeper. When Kersey and his daughter return, they knock him out and kidnap her. After raping her back at an abandoned warehouse, she jumps out the window, killing herself. Bronson being Bronson, it's time once again for revenge, while hiding it from his new girlfriend. Not as good as the original. As sequels rarely are. But I enjoyed it. Bronson as an actor just kicked so much ass.

My Grade: B

Eye Candy: Silvana Gallardo and Robin Sherwood show much flesh, but due to the subject matter, it's not really eye candy. Leslie Graves and Melody Santangello's topless scenes are more palatable.
