The flamethrower-wielding vigilante John Eastland returns to rid New York of a drug lord and his gang.
Never, ever came across one single good review of this movie, time to change that. I mean, this movie has it all, a madman in a steel mask torching thugs in NYC ghettos, A garbage truck turned into a tank, a cheesy love scene... The role of Mario Van Peebles as the insane gang leader "X" is pretty laughable and adds a little extra to the movie. "I'm the messiah, and you are my warriors"...classic! All in all, i have to say, that if it wasn't for it's soundtrack (wich probably runs over the full length of the film)it wouldn't have been turned out into this creepy mid 80's NYC gang/revenge flick. Great settings, great soundtrack, great movie for fans of the genre. Why not come up with a third one?
