I like the novels and, especially, the short stories of
R. K. Narayan.
Here is a surprise find: a
map of Malgudi, an imaginary town where his stories are usually set.
I have an interest in biology. Somehow I like those tiny
liverworts and other bryophytes! Once, during a spell of
over-enthusiasm, I became a member of
ABLS,
a professional organization.
(Of course, all I did was to pay a small
membership fee and receive their newsletter -- which I could not understand
a bit! I discontinued my membership after an year :-))
Well, it does not look like a quote, but I like it a lot.
According to one biography, it was Lagrange's
usual answer for many questions posed to him. I find it
the perfect answer for all the non-trivial questions
that I come across.
